We had a wedding to attend. This was located just right fus us to hike, explore downtown and other parts of Ashville. The Biltmore was less than 20 minutes away, we hiked Triple falls and spent the day at the River Arts district. Everything was super close. We loved having the bakery downstairs for coffee and breakfast. We also had dinner at the restaurant below the apartment. We took evening walks through the neighborhood and felt safe the whole time. The apartment is small but fine for the two of us, we kept our bathroom items on the kitchen counter. We could only access one plug in the bedroom and it was on other side of the room, so our phones could not be next to us. All these things were not issues for a bad review, just things to note. Great location with Trader Joes and Whole Foods near by if you want to cook. Be aware they only had coffee, salt and pepper. There is a bakery and restaurant down stairs and a Starbucks at the end of the block. You are also within walking distance to downtown. The walls are thin and we did hear noise from the other apartments including one where a loud party was taking place, and you will hear traffic noise. Provide a sound machine for street noise. We brought our own. No hot water in the bathroom sink Needs a deep cleaning. Taped Rug pieces in the bedroom were a mess. Location is a healthy walk or short ride share from downtown. The immediate area has options if needed - Starbucks within walking distance, City Bakery downstairs as well as Bone and Broth, but the gems for us were the Chop Shop Butchery (also downstairs) and Jettie Rae's Oyster House a short walk down the street. Did not experience any of the ambient noise in other reviews, but would have preferred a better-stocked kitchen area. If you are visiting here and intend to do any sort of cooking (including reheating of food), suggest bringing a sheet pan at the very least. Also experienced some of the technological issues reported elsewhere with inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity, which affects the use of the Spectrum app on the television. Also note that declining the Damage Protection Insurance results in a pre-authorization to the billing credit card. ##### Larry S.
