"Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!"

"It was our first stay in a lighthouse keeper's inn. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was ample light entering the room from both the north and south sides. We stayed for two nights and the kitchen had ample utensils and plates to cook food from scratch and/or warm prepared food.The only thing that we would have had liked would be more rugs on the floor and more mats in the bathroom. "The Agate Cove Inn was a magical peaceful getaway! My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for an extended weekend during the annual Murder, She Wrote festival in Mendocino. This was the PERFECT location to stay for this event. We had an amazing ocean view without sacrificing proximity to downtown Mendocino, which was about a four minute drive, if that. The hotel was clean, with amazing views, friendly staff, good maid service, and easy parking. I hope to return in the future! Highly recommend this inn!"
