About this property
New to VRBO! Big water views, private dock, pool table, 15 min Clemson!
We have 4 other Keowee lakefront homes on VRBO, listing numbers 2386961, 2935752, 1714451, and 745196. We have been personally managing our Lake Keowee vacation rentals since 2014, so you can feel comfortable booking our home.
Brand new to VRBO, this home was built in 2014, and boasts 4500 square feet of living area with 5 bedrooms (plus loft with bed) and 4 full baths. Contact me directly for specials! This home is a rare gem on Keowee, with new construction, a very flat grassy lot, private deep water dock (10 feet deep at full pond) on a quiet cove with boat lift and jet skis lifts, and big water expansive views of Lake Keowee! 2 stand up paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and lake toys in the garage for no extra charge!
This amazing home is situated on a large private, flat lot and has lake views from every room. This home is one of the only properties on the entire lake with a lake view from the front of the home and from the back of the home, since it is situated on a narrow strip of land between two coves!
The front of the home has extensive landscaping, great curb appeal, a two car garage, and plenty of parking for additional cars and boat trailer. Guests entering the home are greeted with a towering two story great room with a wall of windows highlighting the expansive view of Lake Keowee. This room has plenty of seating, with two couches, a plush chair, and cushioned ottoman. The focal point of the room is a 20 foot tall stacked stone fireplace with gas logs. There is also a large flat screen tv with surround sound above the mantle. The area is an open floor plan with the kitchen open to the great room and dining area. The gourmet kitchen is very well stocked and large, with plenty of room for multiple cooks. Custom cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances, and a large refrigerator will help you to feel right at home. There is a large dining table with seating for 8, with additional seating for 5 at the oversized bar area. The main level features two master bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two queen beds and large private baths. Both rooms are very large, and the larger bedroom on the lake has a desk area and expansive views of Keowee. Outside the great room is a large covered deck overlooking the beautifully manicured back yard, private dock, and lake. This area is protected from sun, and has fans and lights, so you can enjoy it any time of day or year!
The second floor contains an open loft area with a panoramic lake view and a queen bed and comfortable sofa. The upstairs also has a full bath and a huge separate bedroom with two queen beds and lake views from both the front and back! There is also a charming balcony on this level on the front of the home with big water views of the bay outside the front of the home.
The terrace level features a huge recreation room, with pool table, 75 inch flat screen Sony HDTV, leather sofas and chairs, game tables, and an expanded wet bar with second large refrigerator and sink and cabinets. This level also has another large master bedroom, identical to the main floor but with a queen bed, with private bath and lake views. In 2022, we also add an extra bedroom with 2 queen beds!
Outside the terrace level recreation room is perhaps one of the greatest lakefront backyards on the entire lake! There is a huge comfortable outdoor sectional sofa area leading out to a huge stone patio. To the right side of this patio is a wood burning stone fireplace , additional gas heaters. Firewood not provided, but available at grocery store and Dollar General 3 minutes away. There are 7 Adirondack chairs situated around the fire, great for evening drinks and conversations reliving the adventures on the lake. This area leads to a sun deck with several adirondack chairs. Stepping off the stone patio, there is a stone walkway leading to your private deep water dock! This dock has a 7000 pound boat lift and two jet ski ports, and is available for your private use for the duration of your stay. Dock also has several Polywood adirondack chairs for soaking up the Lake Keowee sun. The cove has a big water views, but is recessed enough so there are very fews waves and little boat traffic. Perfect for floating in the water or lounging on the dock!
Most lots on Keowee are very steep, with dozens of steps to the lake level, but this lot is almost completely flat, with a nice grassy area for playing games and zero steps to the lake area!

This trip was a mother- daughter trip. We all have daughters going to Clemson and wanted to have a fun filled weekend with them. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We had all the amenities we needed and one of the days, our girls were able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards. The area the house is in is absolutely gorgeous.
The house had wonderful views and outdoor spaces. There was plenty of room inside for everyone to hang out, eat together and enjoy. Close proximity to stores. Lots of added bonuses, such as kayaks and fire pits.
The house was perfect fit for our family
Location was close to stores, Marina for fuel, and an easy jaunt to the lake’s big water
The pool table and large patio are huge hits
The low slopes yard was perfect for toddlers
House was spacious and neighbors were very polite
We rented the house for our annual Harley trip. The house was terrific, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were great.
Fantastic waterfront. Lots of space and very well maintained property. Rented a boat and parked in the boat house. Great views from main and lower levels with awesome deck.
Great location, Great Backyard and View, tons of beds
This house has a great location, easy access to the lake and a lot of room to sleep family. Having access to the kayaks and paddleboard was fun as well. My only critique is that the house is in need of painting inside. Some of the walls are really dirty. I would stay again.
This property was perfect for our family. We had four generations enjoying the home while making lifetime memories on the lake. The ease of access to the lake made the trip that much more enjoyable for the whole family. The property owner was extremely responsive to any questions/needs during our stay. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation!
Beautiful big house in a nice quiet neighborhood. A perfect spot for our family get together. There was lots of room for all to spread out. Has everything you need to cook and have fun. Pool table was a big hit for the week. Nice outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the water/views. Owner was responsive when needed! We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The house was perfect and accommodated our four generations very well. All rooms were appointed beautifully and comfortably and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. Outdoor space was extremely nice with plenty of chairs for all of us. The owner responded quickly when needed. This one is on our list for future visits to Lake Keowee.
Family reunion...12 adults.
Enough beds, enough room for all.
Kitchen was well stocked with necessary appliances and cutlery. Nice access to.the lake. Pool table was nice to have when it rained one afternoon.
We were immediately pleased with the nearly flat entry into the water. The neighborhood was quiet and easily accessed off the main road.
All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any cooking implements that we needed.
The pool table provided fun in the house and the main deck and the dock provided fun on the water.
We would stay at this home again.
Property and the house were breathtaking! We wanted for NOTHING. In fact we did not want to leave. The house was very clean, the kitchen fully stocked. Plenty of space and the lake views were amazing . We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this home!
We had a great visit! The backyard and entrance into the water was perfect for our littles to run in and play. The house was clean and beds were comfortable!
A gorgeous, very comfortable, well-appointed home in a beautiful setting on a protected cove off the main lake. Excellent luck on the weather plus a new pontoon boat rental made for a nearly perfect vacation!
The house is in a nice location with clear and great views of the lake. We enjoyed the stay but not much to do around the sorrounding area(s).House is somewhat dated. Kitchen is well stocked. Some of the lights around the house don't work. The living fireplace could not be used/operated. Appears to be just for appearances. Neither of the TV's downstairs worked. The house was not really "clean" and neither were some of the bed sheets. We had to wash. We would have expected these things to be right for the money we paid.
We had an amazing time with our family (9 adults) at this beautiful house on a peaceful cove at Lake Keowee. So many activities are available in the area. We rented a pontoon boat from Lake Day Rentals (highly recommend them!) and had so much fun exploring the lake as well as tubing. House provided kayaks, paddle boards, and floats which was so nice to access. The house has so many nice places to hang out and take in the waterviews which are fantastic. Nearby we took in some golf at the Walker course at Clemson (top notch experience), mountain biked at Stumphouse trails, played pickleball in Walhalla, and found some great brewery's. Back to the house: it really has everything we needed. We cooked all our meals (shop at Publix, 15 mins away and really nice) and found the kitchen so well equipped, clean and spacious. 6 smart TV's and a pool table made for great entertainment as well. Really can't say enough about the house and would add that Doug and Beth are great hosts and clearly know how to set up a house for maximum fun with zero hassle for their guests. We plan on returning!
