Good value for money. Quite basic accomodation, but clean and spacious. Only 20 min walk (free ferry which runs frequently) to central Amsterdam. Only things we were missing were small fridge and kettle.

The staff were all extremely helpful! The hotel and our room were spotless and was a very convenient spot in Amsterdam Noord. Getting to Centraal Amsterdam was easy.

Great staff. Loved the breakfast buffet. Safe, cute location very near the train. Only thing, the walls and ceilings are quite thin, you will be able to hear a lot of what is going on outside and with your neighbors. I am not a light sleeper, so it did not bother me at all!

Great location just one metro stop outside of the downtown area. Only a 4 minute walk to the metro. Rooms are sparse, but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice dining/chill out area. Breakfast selection included pastries, hard boiled eggs and cereal, which could be ordered a la carte as well. Coffee house located two doors down for those serious about their morning java.

Really need to sort out the awful smell

Staff were friendly-ish and the beds were comfy and great sized bathroom. The hotel is situated in a nice area with an amazing cafe place next door. Sadly there was an awful smell constantly coming from the bathroom drains so we had to keep all the windows open. The smell was pretty bad. The fridge didn’t work and no kettle or tea making facilities in the room. Communal areas were also smelly and the hotel has very thin walls so we could constantly hear other peoples doors opening and closing 24/7. The bedrooms aircon although we had it on ´off’ setting constantly turned on and off throughout the night keeping us awake.

The place was only very slightly 1 step up from a hostel. It didn’t have a fridge, cups, kettle or anywhere to sit. The sheets were dirty, bathroom were lacking maintenance, stunk of bleach and had mouldy silicone. There was food under the bed, thick with dust. The breakfast “buffet” selection was terrible. Staff walked into our room and took one of our keys even though we had a do not disturb sign up. Cleaners didn’t swap the sheets in the 8 days that we were there. The window was locked with no key which was a worrying fire hazard. Aircon was good but kept getting noisy. The other guests were extremely noisy, coming back dunk and making lots of noise even at 5am. There was only 1 pillow and beds were pretty uncomfortable. Location was not to bad with a jumbo only 10 minutes away and the ferry to Amsterdam Centraal about a 15 minute walk away. I would only recommend booking if you’re looking for something slightly better than a hostel.
