The room was nice and big and well maintained., Breakfast had multiple options and was very well organised. Staff was very helpful. I would suggest upgrade the room table light fixtures to include USB charging ports as well. Over all very satisfied with the stay

Very clean room, very nice attendants at the front desk and keen to solve any doubt or problem that you may have. Restaurant dinner menu was short but incredibly good, we had burger (homemade) & tacos (delicious). Bar nice & comfortable, with many options to relax and to stay connected. Wifi = excellent.

Location was perfect to catch some shows at the arena only about a 6 minute walk. Room was fine but needed some love, there were some scuff marks on the walls , the shelf with the TV wasn’t dusted in a while and could see a film of dust not a huge deal as i wiped it down with a tissue but still. Found some hairs on my bed hopefully it was just an off day for housekeeping. Everything else was nice. Super friendly front desk staff as well as at the on site restaurant.

It was really nice that the breakfast was included in the price, made the morning really nice. However I do think that the rooms need better cleaning. On the carpet there were stains and also on the desk chair. The toilet seat was also wobbly and could be fixed. Also the wooden frame from the bed was broken and the outlets in the room were loose. Lastly the workers were really nice so that was a plus point

The problem with this hotel is the air conditioning. If you don't mind finding the room temprature completely different from what you set (or even asked for), and if you don't mind having to go to the reception (that typically doesn't answer the phone) in order to have the temperature set because the thermostat doesn't obey your will, then this hotel may be fine for you. The breakfast is what you expect for this kind of hotel, no complaints there. The moquette in our room was clean and odourless. The Bijlmer Arena station is a 10 minutes walk away, and there you have the metro that takes you to the central station in less than 20 minutes, or trains to Amsterdam central, south, or Schiphol, this one in less than 15 minutes. At the station there is the GVB counter where you can buy day tickets for up to 7 days, or up to 3 days with regional transport, that includes the 300 bus and similar numbers, and the trains. The food at the hotel restaurant is in general fine.

We arrived early for our stay (due to an early flight). We stored our luggage for free in the luggage store. We had a slight concern about the room as it wasn't locked, but it was directly opposite reception, so hopefully any 'dodgy' characters may have been noticed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a decent size for the 2 of us, and was clean. We had chosen not to have the room cleaned during our stay, and were surprised to find this entitled us to discount vouchers for the restaurant in the adjoining Holiday Inn (the Express has breakfast facilities, but doesn't cater for evening meals). We had one meal in the restaurant, which was good - fairly expensive, but the vouchers made it more reasonable. The 'free' breakfast choice was reasonable - continental, scrambled egg, toast, yogurt, fruit etc. The location is good. Generally a quiet area. It's a short walk to the nearby station, with a short journey to the main tourist areas. Would definitely recommend.
