A wonderful stay!

It is a beautiful farmhouse owned by an extremely friendly and helpful couple! They were always there to offer help and advice and communication was not a problem as they speak excellent English. We had dinner there 3 evenings out of our 4-night stay as the food was tasty. It is truly an excellent base to explore the region!

El hotel y el entorno son preciosos, está todo muy cuidado y con muchos detalles que lo hacen muy acogedor. Ana es una excelente cocinera así que recomiendo quedarse a cenar y Edu encantador, pendiente en todo momento de que estuviésemos agusto, nos enseñó la casa y nos contó un montón de cosas acerca de ella. Nuestra estancia fue muy corta pero nos vinimos encantados con el sitio y la amabilidad.

OK, but not as good as expected

The owners are friendly. The place was ok, but not really up to expectations per the great reviews. I stayed in the annex and the walls are thin. My first night was ok, but the next two were not. A big family stayed upstairs and they were very loud and obnoxious. They smoked, shouted to each other constantly at all times, messed up the communal restroom (the stench traveled), and left a ton of uncovered food in the shared kitchen. I understand that this wasn't the owners' fault, but my experience was ruined nonetheless. The wifi was hit-or-miss. Lovely host dog.

UNA ESTANCIA ENCANTADORA

Casa Gasamans tiene un encanto especial. Desde su ubicación, escondida entre bosques y campos de cultivos en una aldea pequeñita cerca de Santiago de Compostela, hasta sus instalaciones decoradas con muebles antiguos de estilo rural. El acceso a la casa por un precioso y espacioso jardín con farolas, parras y el sonido de una fuente al fondo que da inicio a un riachuelo que lo atraviesa, Tiene también un gran espacio de piscina para el verano. La entrada a la casa resulta de lo más acogedora con un ambiente que te envuelve con su luz y el especial aroma a leña del hogar. Las personas que la gestionan, Ana, Eduardo, son encantadoras, muy amables y dispuestas a ayudar en cualquier cosa que necesites. Las habitaciones, amplias y limpias, están decoradas en el mismo ambiente de muebles antiguos, disponen de baños decorados en consonancia con ese ambiente rural. Disponen de servicio de comedor para desayuno y cena, previo aviso. El desayuno es espléndido con repostería casera. De la cocina para las cenas se encarga Ana y, aunque no te ofrece mucha variedad, lo que te prepara está realmente bueno. Es una estupenda cocinera. Nosotros hemos pasado tres días estupendos y recomendaremos este hotel o casa rural a todo el mundo.

Enorm genoten! Sfeer en comfort gaan goed samen!

Wij waren verrast door deze geweldige locatie! Heerlijk rustig gelegen, smaakvol ingerichte authentieke boerderij, voorzien van alle gemakken. Fijn zwembad en mooie tuin. Het personeel deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ontbijt en diner van zeer goede kwaliteit, kortom, een aanrader!

Outstanding country guesthouse

Charming decor, beautiful gardens, quiet village location. Alda Casa Gasamans is run by a talented couple who are extremely helpful and provided everything we needed for our stay, even special requests. The historic farmhouse has several buildings. Our rooms were decorated stylishly with antique furniture and impeccably clean. Excellent breakfast buffet had many homemade items, along with freshly squeezed juice and cooked eggs. Worth the drive from Santiago de Compostela if you prefer the countryside. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer.

Desayuno con tranquilidaaad

Llegamos muy de noche, pero aún así nos sirvieron amablemente un menú completo en el restaurante a medianoche. Y por la mañana pudimos descansar hasta la hora que quisieramos, pues el desayuno (muy completo y riquísimo) se sirve hasta la hora del almuerzo, algo que nos encntó! El pazo es encantador, los alrededores muy bellos y con gusto volveremos.

Charming Rustic Galician Casa

A very remote hotel, or Casa; If you want a country retreat, this is the place. Very relaxed atmosphere and run by a very friendly couple, Eduardo and Anna. Very clean and tidy room, excellent breakfast and the evening meal was traditional Galician rustic fare. We throughly enjoyed our stay for 1 night while driving through Spain to Portugal and would recommend it - but be sure to get the map co-ordinates in your satnav.

Super romántico y limpio!

La estadía fue estupenda! Un poco difícil de llegar porque no conozco el área. Todo super limpio, que da gusto. La chimenea en la casa principal super grande y romantica. Habían castañas para tostar :) . Volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo.

Falta uma mesa de apoio no quarto e este era um pouco pequeno. O local não é fácil de encontrar, já que é preciso atravessar algumas aldeias e bosques, mas vale a pena

Lovely old property with lots of character

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The countryside is absolutely gorgeous and the property is full of character with some lovely features. We were in the barn - which had table tennis/pool table, lounge and also a further dining room that guests could use if they wished. The young couple running the property were really friendly and helpful - spoke good English and were happy to suggest walks etc. Plentiful breakfast buffet (fantastic orange juice!) and evening meals were also very good. Incredible value for money.

relax in the middle of nowhere - real countryside

Excellent facilities in the country - outside of the city in the quiet village. Fresh air, silence, you really sleep there until late - but if you wake up early , no breakfast before 9am. Also if planning to arrive late - ckeck-in stops at 8pm. Need a car - otherwise, forget it!

Atmosfera eccezionale

Casa Gasamas , a 10/15 minuti dal centro di Santiago, si trova immersa nel verde e nel silenzio. La casa, ristrutturata, ha poche stanze molto curate e accoglienti, così come le zone comuni. La cena, semplice ma ottima, è servita dai due simpatici gestori, che dopo cena hanno offerto agli ospiti una tradizionale bevanda galiziana, in una atmosfera veramente conviviale. Sosta obbligata per chi si trova in zona.

Klein und gut

Ein sehr nettes, persönlich geführte Pension. Leider ein wenig abseits, das ausser für Pilger auf dem Jakobsweg nur mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Küche gibt es auf kurze Vorbestellung - ganz ausgezeichnet! Klein aber sehr komfortabel.
