"Overall, it was a very good stay. The room is advertised as Texas sized, and they are right. It’s a big room, bed was comfy. They give you liquid hand soap instead of that cheap hotel bar soap, so that was nice. Had a few issues….my tv remote didn’t work except to turn on the tv and adjust the volume, but I was out hiking all day and CNBC wasn’t that bad for an hour or so. Breakfast needs work. You have to heat up your own bacon, eggs, or sausage. At checkout, the person working the counter was a kid, probably in that 10-12 years old range. I’d stay there again if heading out that way"

"This property was opened in 1950 (says so on the sign) and it is a vintage property. Don't expect all the perks that you get at a chain hotel. The room was very clean. There is a small (no vanity or bathtub) bathroom, a little kitchen area with a sink, small fridge and microwave, and coffee/coffee maker. TV worked fine, there was a small table and 2 chairs in the room. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and parking was right outside the door. Staff was not always in the office; we had a small issue and just ended up telling the person in the office about it as we left (the sign said "closed" but there was a vehicle parked in front so I went in). We would stay here again. It costs much less than the chain hotels in town. If you just want somewhere to sleep/shower and have a cup of coffee it's great."

"The only complaint I have was the hot tub was like warm but after a long day of hiking in the heat I was ok with that. Everything else was great!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Casita Bonita and it was great for my pups… it’s a sweet older home and had some nice touches and convenient to most everything.The backyard is large with a couple shade trees"
