« We visited Hubbard Lake (Churchill Point) for a wedding. Very lucky to find Sunset Hideaway! 2 couples stayed, so only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. We had unusually chilly weather when arrived so did not get to use all the property offered- fire pit, the lake, & renting a pontoon to enjoy the water and a sunset! But we were able to enjoy a beautiful lake views from the cottage through the wall of windows while enjoying our coffee. Plus walk out on the huge deck and see the millions of stars at...

« Shower left a lot to be desired. Cold water knob fell off. When turned on not sure if it was from sitting or the shower head but ended up covered with a rust type sludge. I know it’s from the well water but maybe before being occupied if it sat vacant go in and run the shower and clean the shower head. »

« A returning guest to the Embers Cabin and it did not disappoint. Nice binders filled with information about the area provided by owner. Bed super comfy. All amenities were accurate with online property description. Clean, tidy and peaceful! It was great to unplug and unwind here. Also as a solo traveler, I felt very safe at this location. 10/10 recommend. »

« This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. You might want an extension cord if you like to use your electronics in bed. Cabin may fit 6 in a pinch using couch, but more comfortable for...

« Better than we expected. Excellent beach, dock, and location. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. »

« We had a great time at our stay on Hubbard Lake. The owner lives right across the street so he is there if you need anything but never once made us feel as if we were being watched. I have stayed elsewhere where we felt as if the owner watched us the entire stay. This was not the case here! We had a great time. If I had to be picky and complain about something I would say it can get a little warm in the cabins with no ac but it was over 90 our entire stay. Also, the parking is very limited. »
