« We were looking for a unique place to stay, away from the usual trappings of a bigger city. Your location being right on the Lake’s edge, was very special, calming, especially in the mornings watching the fog roll over the Lake and the many squadrons of Canada Geese floating across the lake with morning coffee. We especially loved the interior cabin design and furniture made for a very relaxing stay. »

« Only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. Angie communicated throughout the process-even sending condolences when she found out we were in the area for brother in law’s funeral. Very clean, cozy, and easy to find everything, ie instructions to TV, and house rules. Beautiful view from patio of small lake-moon was full! If ever in the area again, would definitely stay here again :) »

« Although the neighbor looked a little seedy and the porch could use a coat of paint, the interior was just fine for our stay. (Central Michigan University graduation). The price was right and proximity to CMU was key. Although the write up mentioned a hot tub, there was none and the residence was lacking in mirrors. Multiple females with only one bathroom mirror just doesn’t work. Each bedroom could use a mirror big enough to do grooming ! »

« The property was exactly what we were looking for in regards to location and setup. Tucked away in the woods and cozy. We enjoyed the sleeping quarters along with the riverside views provided. The surrounding public hunting was all close and easily reached. The cons we encounterd consisted of no running water due to a frozen pump, the cleanliness was overall okay but we had to wash all the silverware we used. »

« Our family loved this cottage and we loved the hostess Nina! When I first walked into the house it smelled amazing and the view was beautiful. It was such a great first impression. The beds are comfortable and all the natural light in the cottage makes it a happy space. We reached out to Nina several times and she was always available and accomadating. I highly recommend staying at this cottage! »

« Every part of our stay was wonderful. Jeremy helped us find a golf cart rental and was very responsive to all communications. We saw him a couple of times and he made great suggestions about things to do in the area. He made us feel very welcome with our group of 4 young children. The beach on the lakeside of the property was perfect for kids- sandy, shallow with a slow, gradual descent, and no dangerous objects in the sand because they don’t allow glass or fishing back there. « What a great little place! We had a family wedding in the area and we drove from Iowa and this was the perfect place to stay. My son and his friend drove up from Georgia to stay with us. I didn't realize there was not a TV or even internet! But guess what, we all survived! And we were too busy anyway. The Cracker Box, was neat and tidy, the hosts were the best!!
