« A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

« This was our first safari which was absolutely amazing. We got to see 4 of the big 5\. We had one of the bush lodges. The lodges themselves are beautiful and huge. Our only disappointment was that we were given one of the lodges without a view onto the plain and waterhole. I did request a lodge with a view but they cannot guarantee it. The bath is huge and the outdoor shower was fabulous. The food was really good too. The service and friendliness of the staff was impeccable. Our game driver was...

« You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb! »

« Wir hatten die beste Zeit in Hillsnek! Es fühlt sich an wie eine kleine Familie und ist super besonders. Die Menschen dort sind einfach toll und geben alles damit man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist exzellent und abwechslungsreich und der ganze Tag ist gefüllt mit Highlights. Unser Guide Hanri hat das gesamte Erlebnis perfekt gemacht - er weiß so viel über die Natur, und die Tiere, das ist unglaublich! Wir sind so glücklich, dass wir diese Zeit erleben durften und der Abschied fiel uns...
