« I book a fishing trip each year for my dad, a friend of mine, and me. This year we stayed at this lovely property in Pelots bay. Interior was as advertised, clean, and had beautiful rooms. As others have mentioned, there are quite a few steep stairs down to the dock/water, so if you’ve got small kids/anyone with limited mobility, just be aware of that going in. « We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away. »

« Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful area. The communication with David was timely and helpful. He provides guests with a great list of things about his lake home and community establishments. We checked out five and each spot, the staff were so welcoming. Sunsets are spectacular. The fire pit was nice although Mother Nature did not totally cooperate. The fishing was very good and large mouth bass were plentiful. We fell in love with this area of Laje Champlain. »

« The property was beautiful and spacious. Wish there was more seating in living room. Paddle boards and kayak were fun. Did not receive code to check in until after arrival time so that was challenging. Water had a strong sulfur smell. Should let guests know prior to bring drinking water Overall a lovely place »

« A wonderful rental. We loved the layout of the house, the awesome bunk beds, the kayaks, and the deck over the water. This is the perfect rental along the lake. Georgia does make you work a little harder to go to stores and into Burlington for other activities, but I grew up there so I knew that was the case. This is a great spot to rent and just enjoy Lake life. If it’s available when I come back, I’ll definitely stay again. »

« Pros: Few neighbors which meant it was quiet. « Cabin is small but well laid out and well appointed. We enjoyed the water and watching the fishermen come and go. Good starting point for the several day trips into Quebec we made as well as to New York and Southern Vermont. Cabin has access to a grill and fire pit as well as outdoor table and chairs. Not sure these were visable in the listing pictures. »
