« The cabin is wonderful. Very cute and decorted to make it sooo cozy. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Did get to see a barge on the river. Only complaint is the yard needs weedeated. Cant really mow it so weedeat it and cut some low limbs and it would be perfect. »

« This place felt great the moment we arrived. Clean with all the amenities we required. The view out of the sunroom is amazing, or you get the same view from the outdoor patio table. Numerous hummingbirds kept us entertained. Great communication from the owner. We'll definitely plan to return. »

« We enjoyed the house, the deck was awesome, the main drawback was having only 1 bathroom, for a place that big you would expect 2 bathrooms. It was just myself & my husband who stayed if the other family had come, 1 bathroom would have been a big problem. »

« This place was perfect for us. We came for the eclipse and stayed for Arkansas. The property is exactly as described, a charming farmhouse with some great parks nearby. The neighbors were amazing and made us feel entirely welcome. We enjoyed the cows and chickens - but the songbirds were also entertaining. Thanks, R&D for a great time! »

« Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again! »

« First off, the view from the living room is a million dollar view! Absolutely breathtaking. The house was clean, fully stocked, and we loved that it had kayaks available for us to use! We kayaked, fished, relaxed, did stargazing at night, and went to Petit Jean which wasn’t a far drive! We had a fantastic trip and can’t wait to go back!! »

« The location is conveniently close to the state park and it's a very short drive to access the trails and visitor's center. However, the cottage has a musty smell and the burners on the stove were warped to the point that we had trouble cooking our food. We also had some issues with the AC unit in the bedroom. »

« I recently had the pleasure of booking a stay here through Vrbo and I must say it was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this cozy little getaway was something special. The attention to detail was simply superb! It was stocked with a thoughtful assortment and variety of coffees and so many other thoughtful items! . The layout of the furniture was perfect, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. « Cozy lake house with fabulous view! A very comfortable place to spend a lazy weekend. The host responded very quickly to all messages, and he gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area. There was an osprey nesting offshore, and lots of birds nearby. We went on hikes that the host recommended. Neighbors were all friendly. The kitchen had all necessary pots and pans and tools for cooking all weekend. There is a really nice grocery store in town, too. It was the perfect place to watch...
