We were very impressed with the very homey feeling of the house. The house was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also loved that we had access to washer and dryer, especially having kids that always seem to get their clothes messy. The house was in a perfect area of town, close enough to walk to the Abita cafe and the little grocery, too. We loved all the little Christmas decorations in the house, and all the unique touches the owner put into the decor. We can’t wait to stay again! ##### Marie R. The hosts Melanie and Cecil were there to greet me and were lovely to meet. They have created a little oasis of peacefulness in the heart of Abita Springs. Modern kitchen with coffee available. Many spices available for to use if you cooked in. A gift card to a local Restaurant that had an amazing Brunch. Washer Dryer new and functional. Bathroom was adequate with everything you’d need. It was decorated with plants galore in the kitchen. Antique rice and iron beds, armoires for clothing and other antique side tables. I loved the front door keyless entry. Perfect.
