Honestly best location for Abisko. The train station is next to the station. Most of the activities leave out of this location and plenty of hikes nearby.
A great place to see the Northern Lights. The area is quiet and safe. There are plenty of activities to do during the day: dog sledding, lake visit, or taking a scenic train ride to Narvik. Just a five-minute walk toward the base station and you can see the Northern Lights so clearly in the sky. The view from the Sky Station is great and is worth a visit.
The tourist station is conveniently located in Abisko national Park. It has its own train station and it's just a five minute walk away. The rooms were large and spacious with plenty of storage, a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, great views of the park and a very large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and provided lots of vegan options! We enjoyed our stay very much.
Abisko stf is very clean, walking distance from train station. Various hiking trails are also easily accessible from here. View is very nice. Staff is very hepful.
The room was in a clean and reasonable condition for staying. This is a good place to catch a glimpse of the Aurora in the comfort of the house from the window.
Very comfortable hotel rooms, good value breakfast and dinner, really friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful vibe with all the hikers. Great base to explore the national park whether you are a seasoned trekker wanting to leave some luggage before a multiday hike or a family trip up the chairlift
Room clean though it’s a shower room=flooded floor. Wish I had know about the placement of rooms would’ve upgraded to one with view over lake rather than other buildings. Tons of places to sit and view scenery … with power points. Several hikes around fr 1 km to 200 kms. Peaceful midrange accommodation - price reflects this. 5 min walk fr train station.

Incredible location, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere :)
It was a great place to stay. We flew into Kiruna from Stockholm and rented a car to travel up to Abisko. Easy drive and lovely place to stay for 3 nights. Went hiking and spotted the Aurora from our hotel. Overall good place for rest and recreation.
Let me start by saying this is an amazing location and well worth a visit.
However, we stayed in a premium room, which was more expensive than our 4 star hotel in Kiruna, but nowhere near the same quality. Nevertheless, as everyone else has previously, we overlooked this due to the amazing location.
We were unable to book in the restaurant for the three nights we were there and ate in the bistro once as the menu never changed burger, pizzas or salad.
This venue is also far more expensive than other parts of Sweden.
The personal was friendly, the breakfast good. The room was a bit small but okay. There were several rooms for relaxing what was great. The hostel was next to the Kungsleden hiking way and to the Torneträsk lake (great view!) what was great.
Hotel is located at tourist station, but the map shows at Abisko east station, hotel room is very clean and good equipment, excellent staff and good location, you can see aurora at night, good for sightseeing.
