« This is a 2 star motel at best. Very basic rooms and facilities. We paid almost 500€ for 2 adults and a child for a tiny room. Room 101 was very noisy as it is the 1st room next to the restaurant At night we heard banging sounds and loud voices. Even with the window closed, they have a huge problem with their air vents in the toilet making an unbearable noise with the wind outside. When the window is open the sound is completely deafening! Anything but peaceful, The hotel had an unpleasant wet...

« Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts. »

« Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten. »

"This is a 2 star motel at best. Very basic rooms and facilities. We paid almost 500€ for 2 adults and a child for a tiny room. Room 101 was very noisy as it is the 1st room next to the restaurant At night we heard banging sounds and loud voices. Even with the window closed, they have a huge problem with their air vents in the toilet making an unbearable noise with the wind outside. When the window is open the sound is completely deafening! Anything but peaceful, The hotel had an unpleasant wet shoes/socks smell all throughout!!! Corridor leading to all the rooms is very dark and dingy! This was NOT a comfortable stay for us and definitely our least favorite place in all our 6 hotels in Iceland! Hotel interior in general looks cheap and budget level. Very deceiving! "
