"My room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had sufficient English to help me with any problems I had. "We had such a wonderful stay. Our hosts Ahsi and ZiYan were absolutely amazing. They picked us up from right off the ferry with all our luggage and helped us rent scooters right away and then to their hotel. We actually felt like family during our 4 days there. "Room was huge and ours had sea view (it was also facing the street, thankfully it wasn’t noisy). It’s a cosy place with scooter parking right in front of the property and a couple of good dining options around. Kudos to the staff (I think she’s also the owner) for notifying us that transport out of the island was cancelled due to typhoon on the day we planned to depart. That heads-up gave us time to change our ferry ticket to a day earlier."

"This place is for people who want a real local vibe. The rooms are simple but clean. For the price it’s an incredible deal. The captain’s view in front of the house is hard to beat. Paps is a retired tuna captain and it appears his family runs the place. He’s always out front chewing betel nut and keeping an eye on his water. Does not get more local than this. At the beginning of the main strip with all the restaurants and shops. Plenty parking for scooters. Breakfast Nextdoor while staring at the dark blue water. It’s hauntingly memorable."
