Head to Newman Outdoor Field for tons of action and one really big bat. Big Bruce is the largest baseball bat in the world. Built of white ash, which is what Major League Baseball bats are made of, Bruce measures 408.9 cm tall and 101.6 cm wide. It is named after Bruce Thom, the president of the local minor league baseball team, the RedHawks. While you’re visiting the bat, be sure to see a live game--Newman Outdoor Field is also where the RedHawks play.
