We were lucky that someone else with a valid code opened the door for us. I reported the problem right away and no one came to fix the issue at all. "As a mature solo female traveler, this chic modern hostel was perfect for my needs. Front desk staff was welcoming and informative, and the kitchen/lounge area had everything I needed for my stay including a huge communal fridge. The sleeping pods themselves were soundproof as advertised, and super comfy. Centrally located, I felt very safe and close to all the wonderful shops and restaurants of Reykjavik. Would recommend."
