Several issues. To the good side, it was a lovely location, with generally very nice staff, The housekeepers were lovely. Front desk and restaurant folks were fine. But if this is a "Resort" and I'm paying "Resort" fees, so generally the room should be fairly top-notch. In this case there were problems. Let me list. -Towel bar in our bathroom fell off it's bracket twice. From just hanging up a towel?? Note: this was the only thing I mentioned on checking out and I was told that's what happens when people lean on it ...??.. yeah, didn't do that. -Television had no - for the sake of people possibly coming from everywhere- no "instruction" card or paperwork on the bureau. Literally had to ask the front desk woman how to use the remote. (BTW - we had friendly next door guests we chatted with who couldn't figure it out either). Was just trying to net network news. -No bathroom fan?? I would've opened the bathroom window but it had no screen. Sorry don't prefer bugs. - Bathroom baseboard heating unit was rusty. Not that I needed it, but it wasn't "Resort" caliber. -Bathroom door would not close properly - likely because it had been over-painted so many times it just "stuck". If we did slam it shut, it took 2 people - one to push and one to pull - to get out. Again, really friendly people, beds were comfy, lovely location. But Lark Hotels should take note.

Everything was great. Great location, great staff. I did have a slight issue on the last morning. I was abruptly woken up at six in the morning by a guests two children running around yelling then banging the outside chairs up against my wall. I knew it was a shared space. I just didn’t know it was that shared. It just stinks because I got away so I could get a couple of good nights sleep for once. I guess it’s just hit or miss depending on who the other guests are. No fault of the inn but wanted to mention it in case someone is looking for something a little more private.
