"Nice hotel with very good location - 10 minutes walk into the city center and 20 minutes walk to the lake. They provide a big garage for bicycles and very good and quality breakfast. The only thing I was missing was a fridge in the room, otherwise we had a really good stay."

"The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). "We stayed 3 days at the Trixi Park and we were lucky that the weather was glorious and hot. The swimming lake is excellent and the kids loved the slide and diving boards. The indoor swimming pool is equally and the associated climbing center really challenged the kids in a positive sense. The house was frankly excellent. "Location Location Location! Crowning a mountain in stunning wilderness, surrounded by walking paths, quaint villages and ancient castles and churches, it's a beautiful place. Welcomed by the owner, Torsten, who grew up here and whose family ran it before him. As a solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me welcome, even walking down into a local village with me for dinner one night. If you want German culture, landscape, food and hospitality, stay here."
