"Great location - right across from the ocean. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The grounds were beautiful with the flowers and green lawns in early/mid June. The amenities were great with 3 pools on the property. There are several places to sit outside and take in the views. The room was a little outdated and definitely had thin walls and floors. There was a family above us that had a very rambunctious toddler and we could hear every heavy footed step. That was rough but luckily we weren't in our room that much. Next time I would definitely request a room on an upper floor to alleviate this headache."

"From start to finish nothing but the most excellent experience! Welcomed by the nicest folks at the front desk you could hope to meet The manager Andy was top notch as well ! The room was something you could only dream about .! The view from the balcony was second to none If you want a so, so hotel don’t stay at the Nevada as this hotel is nothing but stellar in all realms ! It was so impressive I booked a year in advance !!!!"

"My 19-year-old son and I recently stayed at Inn on the Blues for a mother-son weekend in York Beach, and overall we were very happy with our stay. The location is fantastic, right across the street from the beach and just steps from the shops and restaurants at Short Sands. We have visited York many times, so we didn't need much assistance, but check-in was easy. It was completed at the hostess stand, and a staff member escorted us to our room, Sunrise #2. This property is more of an inn than a traditional hotel, offering a smaller, more personal experience. Parking was available in a small lot behind the building, and we had no trouble finding a space. The rear exterior could use some updating, but it did not affect our stay. Our room was located above the restaurant. There was music in the evenings, which didn't bother either of us, but travelers who are sensitive to noise may want to keep that in mind. Our room was clean and modern, with ac, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The location and comfortable accommodations made it a great home base for a York Beach getaway."
