You are not allowed to cook whatever you like. Although I wasnt going to cook but if someone is paying so much money they should be able to make a steak. Her house was stinking so badly that I had to go check in in a hotel. When I left I texted her saying that the place stinks so Iam leaving and she didn't even bother to respond. You are not allowed to open windows and on top of that the place was cold.

Avijit wanted to cancel the reservation and to get a refund at the last minute on the check in day, as her flight didn’t have a seat for her. Because it is a non-refund reservation, it can't be cancelled on the check in date for free. I messaged her that according to the booking policy, I can give her a receipt, so she can ask Westjet to pay for her accommodation fee. She was very angry about that.She came here when the next flight was available. The weather in Yellowknife in May is warm, and the heater in the house was still working. When Acijit checked in I showed her the thermometer on the wall that she can adjust the temperature for her comfort. Avijit’s room has a big window face south, I’m sure it was warmer than 72 F. She showed off that Westjet gave her a very good hotel room for that night and meal voucher.A full equipped guest kitchen is shared with three guest rooms. To respect other guests, strong smell and smoky food are not allowed to cook. Avijit left messy and odor smell food waste on the table when she checked out. We have to open all windows for a few hours to eliminate the odor.We run a small home business. Usually, we accept guests to reschedule their accommodation date even it is a non-refundable reservation. But, free cancellation on the check in day is hard for us. We understand that it is an unhappy thing that people couldn’t take flights on time. Travel insurance would be helpful. Also, if it is the airplane company fault, they will pay for that. We got Avijit’s text after she checked out that if we won't refund her, she would write bad review on the website. We still have the text in the cell phone.

Parking on the street was what I didn't like, the bed was not comfortable, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The host is really nice and helped us to book motor and dog sledding rides, and the house also has a great location which is close to most merchants.

a smelly place, it was impossible to be there, I had to go look for a place to stay, I tried to resist the bad smell and it was impossible, it was nauseating, I just lost my money by staying there

Hi Liliana,You booked this room for 3 people for one night on Expedia a few days ago. Then, you asked to book the same room on another website for other 3 people. I told you it was the same room that you couldn't book twice. You wanted the 6 people stayed together, but all rooms in my house were booked. I guess that you might find a place for 6 people together. I didn't accept your cancellation request on the check-in day. I would have accepted your free cancelation request if you had asked it in advance, not on the check-in day. I'm sorry the three people didn't stay here. I'm sure there is no bad smell, as all other guests stayed here happily on the same day. Anyway, hope you and your five friends had a good time together.

Le hôte est très gentil et nous a aidé à reserver des tours. Aussi elle nous a aidé en recevant et en remettant les vetements d’hiver loués. Le B&B est bien situé au centre ville. Proche des restos er de l’epicerie. Ce que je suggère d’ameliorer est la propreté, il y avait de la pousière cumulé à certains endroits. En resumé c’est un bon endroit pour rester. Merci!

I was booked for 5 nights , but knew I couldn’t stay there right away. It was not clean and there was no cleaning supplies around for me to do some cleaning. Linens were old, ripped and stained. Shared bathroom was dirty. Shower was covered in hair and somebody had their toothbrush in it. I slept in my clothing the first night and found another hotel the next day. Lucky for me we arrived really late the first night and had a 5:30am flight the last night. We stayed out late avoiding the place. I was able to sleep for a couple hours fully clothed in my coat and snow pants on top of the sheets , but I woke up to people coughing their heads off. The bathroom was directly behind my bedroom wall , so I also got to hear men urinating all night . Unfortunately, everything else was sold out for the last day of my trip as well and I had to return and spend one more night there. I didn’t use the shower and only used the bathroom when I was desperate! So I ended up having to pay for all 5 nights but spent 3 nights in another hotel. Don’t waste your money. This place was probably nice at one point in time, but needs so major help !

it was very cold and the nightstand was so dusty like it was never used for awhile. Good thing I had lysol wipes. But I would stay the beds were clean however the floor there was an old chip behind the door. NOT mine because I ate pringles.

My reservation wasn’t able to refund, even the wild fire had been happened there and the airport was closed. I was trying to contact with the property owner, but they didn’t provide any solution for this unexpected disaster, they still kept there policy, no refund, although everyone had evacuated from YellowKnife.

My phone has been stolen from here. My phone on the bed disappeared while I was in the bathroom and when I connected to my phone she asked for money. This happened only for 15 minutes when I was not in the room. There was only two person in the house and after calling the police, I found out that it was caused by someone else breaking in. The front door is unlocked and the homeowner won't know if an outsider breaks in. However, the homeowner says it's all my fault and the front door waas locked. How could someone come into my room if the front door was locked? if it is true, it'll be worst hotel that anyone can come into even though the door is locked. I couldn't sleep there that night, so I left the house at dawn. Please use this place if there are outsiders in your room who can understand. If homeowner is unhappy with this review, please contact me.

Hello Yuji,I understand your feeling of lost belongs in the travel. I got a phone call from Expedia that you wanted a refund because you lost your cell phone. You didn't ask a refund when you were here and you didn't contact me after you check out. I was on my vacation when you were here, I didn't know the details about it. So when the Expedia customer service called me, I asked her to call me again. There might be some misunderstanding when customer service passed words between us. My helper told me your flight was the first flight in the early morning, so you checked out at dawn. The front door and every room have locks, and nobody lost belongs before, so my helper has no experience to deal with this issue. I’m sorry that you didn’t have a good experience of your last night here. Jenny

ダウンタウンの中にあり、スーパー、薬局まで歩いて10分程度で立地はとてもよかったです!値段も他のホテルに比べて安価でフライトのキャンセルがあり現地に到着が二日間遅れましたが、オーナーが親切で柔軟に対応してもらえました!とてもキレイに保たれておりキッチン、トイレ、シャワーはシェアですが全く問題ありませんでした! オーナーがとにかく親切でまた来ることがあれば滞在したいと思います! Thank you for everything Shirley! Thanks to you,I could enjoy visiting Yellowknife!
