It is wonderful to see Melia hotel staff waiting for us at the airport entrance as we arrive Yangon airport 01:00 a.m.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We try all 3 restaurant in the hotel and the Olea is the best. The lady staff Haymar is very friendly and provided a high quality of service during our dining time.
We will visit Melia again on our next trip to Yangon.

The Loft is in downtown Yangon within walking distance of some old amazing neighbourshoods.
They have a small garden out back and an attached resto with yummy food. This is a small new boutique hotel with quirky interior design. Due to the current Rohingya crisis, there are few tourists and I fear for the hotel’s viability. The staff are excellent and arranged private airport transfers. Please support these kind folk!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me with laundry and booking a bus ticket. The area is within a 15 min walk to the 19th street bar area. The only reason for the 4 stars is the weak wifi that didn't connect well and the fridge that didn't work. The tv only had a few chinese channels and no english channels.
