Getting Around Gozo 🚗🚌
Getting around Gozo is a breeze, and with Xaghra as your base, you’ll have no trouble exploring the island’s hidden gems. Here’s how to make the most of your stay:
Public Transport 🚍: Gozo has a reliable and affordable bus system that connects major towns and landmarks. The bus stop is just a short walk from your apartment, making it easy to explore the island without a car. Whether you want to visit the beaches, temples, or other attractions, there’s a bus route for you.
Car Rental 🚙: If you prefer more flexibility, renting a car is a great option. Gozo is small enough that you can easily navigate from one side of the island to the other in under 30 minutes. Plus, you`ll have the freedom to stop at scenic spots along the way!
Taxis : Use taxis services like Uber, Bolt or e-cabs to book your journey via app.
Ferries to Malta ⛴️: Gozo is connected to the mainland of Malta by a short, scenic ferry ride.
The ferry terminal is located in the nearby town of Mgarr, and it’s an easy drive from Xaghra. You can hop on a ferry and explore Malta, or just enjoy the stunning sea views during your ride.
Very important notes before booking:
1. We have STRICT noise policies, therefore when booking, you are agreeing that you are respecting not only the house rules but also the neighbours and the common areas.
*Not abiding by these rules can come in unwanted fines and immediate vacation of the property.
2. During the lovely summer season, although we do sanitise, some ants and cockroaches are to be expected, unfortunately, this is part of our climate but we do provide spray and traps when needed.
3. Early check-in and late check-outs are subject to availability of the day however we truly appreciate if check-in and check-out times are always respected.
4. Self check-ins is provided and details and instructions are to be sent 24 hours prior check-in date.
5. Waste schedules are shown in the check-in guide, putting the waste at the right time, is imperative as otherwise, local fines may apply. Kindly note that streets are constantly monitored.
6. What is included in the apartment.
* Shower gel
* Plate liquid soap
* Toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom)
* Dishwashing tabs (if dishwasher available) which is enough for 3-5 nights depending on the usage.
* Garbage bags
* Linens for the bed
* Towels per person
7. No additional guests who are not part of the booking are allowed to sleep at any time on the premises. The apartment is always insured on the guest amount you book.
If you will be having any other guests it is important to get permission first, a nightly fee could be charged for the extra guest.
8. NO PETS ALLOWED.
9. Smoking inside the property is not permitted and any smoke detectors found removed will be charged accordingly.
10. Any damages or missing items will be charged directly to the guest/s.
