"The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away."

"Very nice little cabin for a weekend away. Hot tub was nice to use after a day of hiking. The kitchen had the essentials (no seraded knives, so bring that if you’re cutting anything). I slept in the loft and the bed was comfortable. The ladder rungs are rounded and not flat so those hurt my feet going up - wearing some rubber soled slippers could alleviate that but I didn’t bring those. The hosts were great at communicating. "

We honestly didn't want to leave and plan to return. The pictures of the home definitely does not do full justice on how beautiful it really is."

While we did not get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit area due to rain, that only means we will be back! We had a stellar meal at Aroma Thyme, a very good/solid dinner at the Mexican place in Ellenville, and LOVED our breakfast and pastries to go at Cohen’s Bakery. Thanks for a lovely place!"
