We moved on the first day from my main floor room overlooking the pool, to the third-floor room with great views of the ocean. Almost everything about the hotel was great. The one shortfall was the restaurant: we started there waiting an hour for breakfast which was very poor. Beautiful hotel right on the Caribbean Sea, an absolute rest cure for us. The interiors and the gardens are stunning, and every attention to detail is there, absolute 5* housekeeping and comfort. Amazing property, great rooms, newly renovated. All staff is amazing, even a trainee always super helpful. Great overall layout of the resort. Only one restaurant but food is good. We went our most of the nights so it was not a problem for us. Walking distance to the famous Ostia Fish market and to The Gap.

Exceptional and memorable Holiday

Sweetfield has an old world charm in an ideal setting. The gardens are beautiful as is the view of the ocean. I love their KOI Pond. The surroundings are tranquil and watching the Peacocks strut about gives the impression of being in a lush garden .. All in all a superb place to stay with Gourmet breakfasts every morning. You couldn't ask for much more.

If you want to see a different side of Barbados I highly recommend a few days at Atlantis. The East Coast is so different then the South or West Coast. Excellent friendly staff who have a genuine interest in you and your stay with them. We had a ocean view room (highly recommended) and where able to relax and recharge.

Stayed for a week in mid-October. It was great. The grounds are beautiful, from the beach to the pool and everywhere in between. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. The in-room dining was excellent, and was always delivered quickly and just as ordered. Their breakfast offering had quite a few options, was quick and easy, and really good. We enjoyed our stay at Southern Palms Beach Club. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed listening to the bands the hotel had entertain its guests on Thursday and Saturday nights. We enjoyed relaxing by one of the hotel's two swimming pools and sitting on the beach (which is wide and clean). We would recommend this hotel.

When we arrive , the reception was incredible, the hotel staff is wonderful and helpful, rhum punch, made us relax and the hall is very pretty, the appartement is incredible kitchenette and balcony to overlook the sea. The restaurant is very good and Irvin is the best barman. The pool is relaxing, the towels are included and you drop them everyday so the next day new towels.
