"Beautiful property situated in stunning countryside. The cleanliness aspect was difficult for them as we were in thatched palm buildings. The check-in was not good as they could not find our booking to start with. Mostly apart from at breakfast and supper there were no staff around at all. White water rafting trip was excellent."

"Lovely owner & lovely grounds. Sadly the shower cut out every time we used it resulting in a blackout of electricity. Sometimes this would return after 2 minutes sometimes 10 minutes. We stayed 9 days. "

"The room was clean, quite, and very comfortable. The wifi worked great, and the rain shower was very relaxing. The breakfast had tasty choices which were all good. The coffee was brewed fresh with several options according to your preference. We liked it so much that we cancelled our upcoming stay at another hotel and rebooked those 3 nights at iThaphae."

What a lovely hotel - great staff - very helpful - and that restaurant downstairs - what a find !
