We found the hotel staff extremely helpful and very friendly, the hotel was always spotless as was our room when we arrived and everyday after cleaning. Location is excellent close to Maya shopping centre also quite a few local markets. Restaurants around the area are fantastic huge range to choose from good idea to google first and check reviews. Buffet breakfast was always very tasty and filling. All major attractions easily reached using Grab Taxis. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good selection of food at the breakfast buffet. Room was very spacious and came with a kitchen. All the amenities you could need. Good WiFi signal. My room was next to a public place where they had music on Fri, Sat and Sun from around 7pm to 11:30pm! It was so noisy that it was almost impossible to sleep before midnight! I travelled with a group of friends. The best room was the Deluxe Room. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the center of Chiang Mai and close to the highways to reach other locations further from the city. The suite has great equipments, a huge bathroom, a king bed. The sofa could be refurbished but is still cool to enjoy. The main issue, and it’s probably try with all rooms, is that you really need some earplugs at night. This is a lively neighborhood so there is laughter and singing until late in the evening. Could really use a proper soundproofing on windows to make it the perfect stay in Chiang Mai. ##### Thomas Stayed 5 nights in Jan 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### Trene Feb 16, 2025 Disliked: Amenities The rooms are clean, great layout. I had a real problem with the wifi. It was so slow and then just turn off. I told them and they tried to fix it but was still not great. I had free breakfast but never went ...... not good. The pool was nice but you lost the sun around noon. The room was spacious, had lots of light & was clean. There was a mini kitchen but no dishes so not meant to be used. When you take the key card out to lock your room when you leave, all electricity shuts off which makes the bar fridge not stay cool. The shower was ok except the water did not get hot. It was kinda warmish so not ice cold but definitely not hot. The breakfast was outstanding for a small hotel. The food choices were quite nice & the care & presentation made up for the not so hot shower. Everything about the hotel was 5 star except the tepid shower & the electrical cut off when leaving the room. Overall it was very clean, the service was great, & location with a 5 min walk from a big mall & a breakfast to look forward to each morning makes this a great choice if it suits what you are looking for. ##### krista ### 10/10 Excellent #### Shinobu May 21, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities I stayed in 2 other hotels in Chiang Mai before Cmor and those were nice especially the S17 but this hotel takes the cake. First the staff members are excellent. I don't speak Thai but there were a lot of people working who spoke English. They are friendly, they greet me coming and going and had no issue with my goofiness. Shout out to the dining room captain Pea, great person. I spoke to her and she gave me some Thai lessons and just listened to me. I stayed in a junior suite(2 double beds) by myself next to the pool. During the day time you can hear people in the pool which is fine for me, I'm awake usually around that time or out of my room. The tv did have some a dead pixel line on the right side and some decoloration but majority of the time I was on my laptop or phone. It has multiple stations of different nationalities. The room comes with AC nothing outdated or spaceage. I didn't use it as much, because I wanted my body to adjust to the temperature in Thailand. The bathroom does need a little more lighting around the mirror area, maybe a small light bar can be placed above it for cheap. The toilet comes with a bumblaster, there's a standing shower next to it and on the other side of the bathroom is a nice bathtub. There are blinds in the bathroom to let in some light but again a light bar would really help. There's no outlets in the bathroom, seems to be consistent in Thailand.
