A truly amazing experience in a breathtaking setting. Our hosts, Julie and Hal, treated like ‘old friends’ in sharing stories and introducing us to their plantation home. The mansion harkens back to antebellum times and the adjacent accommodations were impeccably clean, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be had at a very reasonable price. No one will be disappointed!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The staff was excellent and acomadating. Myrtles was the highlite Of our stay in Louisiana.

A typical small town hotel. Nothing spectacular but a decent place to stay for the night enroute. Pretty good complimentary breakfast.

Host was very hospitable and helpful. Provided an excellent and interesting tour of the main floor rooms, explaining historical significance and the house design and construction, as well as the furniture, art, paintings, decor, dining ware etc. The room was comfortable, clean, bed was comfortable. The private washroom and shower were clean. Parking was free on the street in front or at the side of the mansion, street lighting was good, no concerns strolling around town at night and down to the...

Beautiful historic property on fabulous grounds. Highly recommended

Beautiful period home wonderfully maintained..an elevator would have been nice but not necessary, staff very friendly and knowledgeable

Our hostess qas first class and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the property. She was excellent!

The front desk staff is amazing. We arrived early, but they accommodated us and we were able to get a room right away. The room had a beautiful view of the river and was clean and cozy. The only problem was a bit outdated bathtub and the bathroom fan that was dreadfully loud.
