« Extremely poor communication from property owner/host. Once trip was booked i didn’t hear back from them AT ALL!!! I had questions and requests that went completely unanswered!!! Also the thing we were most excited for, the pool, was full of dead and alive bugs. And before you ask, no there was no net whatsoever to clean them out of the pool so we could enjoy it. « This was so much better in person! Too bad there are only 5 stars for the stay here. The hosts are friendly, respond very quickly to any questions or issues, and make it feel so homey here. « Great location for a rustic getaway. Communication was great. I was in Parkersburg to visit my daughter and we had a great time kayaking! Awesome spot! »

« We love the two separate cabins and enjoyed the fishing in the Ohio river. We even caught a catfish! We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was great from the host. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 day. Watch out for the poison ivy on the bank but other than that, great stay! »

« Host was good. The bed was horrible, slipped all over the place, hard to get in because the edge the bed sank on the edge. The kitchen sink was stained and chipped. Dead bugs on the window sills and roach traps set in plain sight all over the cabin.No instructions on how to use the heater or the old Roku remote. When you are not familiar with the equipment instructions are needed. Also, it’s winter, a snow shovel would have been nice. Snow on the porch and steps. Really slippery. Not real happy...
