« The cabin was a beautiful place to stay during our yearly fishing trip. The views were spectacular from both the cabin and dock. The surrounding area was quiet, aside from the sounds of nature. Regular sighting of the red fox population was a treat! All in all, a great vacation spot. »

« This cabin is very cozy, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from Ely. The best part of our stay was fishing off the dock - we caught lots of panfish and several sizable bass! It's very nice this property offers an aluminum canoe, kayak and paddles for use on the lake. »

« Our place was more than we expected, so many thoughtful little add-ons, it’s a beautiful lake and property. Our kids were camping near by at Bear Head State Park and got rained out. Jay learned of that and txt me to say they could stay in an extra space he had instead of their wet tent - which they did! Jay was so thoughtful and generous, we very much appreciated his gesture. Highly recommend Wilderness Wind and look forward to coming back. »

« Excellent location for fishing different lakes each day. Armstrong is a great Bass lake. The camp host - Jay was very accommodating and was knowledgeable of the fishing on the other lakes nearby. « We stayed at Mike’s place for a month and it was perfect! Very clean, comfortable, and a short walk from almost everything. Mike was a great host- always very responsive and helpful. An excellent spot for an extended stay! Plus pets were allowed, which made the month possible for us! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it! »

« This cabin is absolutely beautiful and sits directly on Fall Lake which is part of the BWCA! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The deck off the back had direct views of the lake. The owner was communicative during our entire visit and helped restore the internet when a lightning strike hit the dish. We launched our kayaks from the dock and fished every day. There was even a fish cleaning station down by the water. I would highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking to take a trip...

« My friend and I stayed at Cedar Cottage for 5 days and we really enjoyed it. The cottage is beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood, it’s quiet and calm outside, but still really close to Ely. We would stay there again, and highly recommend it. »
