« It was a beautiful house with an amazing host who went above and beyond! Great location to be able to explore the Grampians and everything it has to offer! Each bedroom has its own app it system making it perfect for winter and summer. Having four bedrooms with queen bed in each is amazing for older family’s with couples and children to be able to stay and a big backyard for dogs to roam. »

« We have just returned from a lovely two night stay in Dunkeld. There was five adults staying at the property and it was so warm, clean and inviting. We stayed very warm (given the outside temperatures down to 2 degrees) around the wood fire and the multiple panel heaters kept the entire house warm. « An attractive house, it was clean and pleasant. there were a few minor niggles though, the lock on the front door didnt work. the woodshed was locked, its the middle of winter... we were there for a week there were no garbage bags, 3 dishwashing tablets, insufficenet toilet paper. More care needs to be taken to brief the cleaners so they know how ling 6 adults are staying for.... »

Un hôtel agréable entouré de kangourous
"Nous cherchions un hôtel à Halls Gap quand un groupe de kangourous et des émeus ont attiré notre attention. Ils étaient dans une grande prairie faisant partie du parc d'un hôtel. Les derniers avis positifs sur cet hôtel qui vient de changer de propriétaire ont fini de nous convaincre d'y prendre une chambre Nous n'avons pas regretté. Cet hôtel familial est situé en retrait de la route, au calme au milieu d'un parc. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Nous avions une chambre premium située devant avec vue sur le parc... et donc les kangourous ! Grande chambre simple mais propre et fonctionnelle avec micro-ondes, bouilloire, petit frigo et chauffage d'appoint supplémentaire. Très bon restaurant et possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner. Terrasse donnant sur le parc. A notre grande joie, un kangourou peu farouche est venu nous voir sur la terrasse au dîner, pour se faire nourrir et caresser, et nous attendait devant notre porte le lendemain matin ! "
