"The cabin is right by the water. The cabin is clean and just right for 2 people. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the back porch and listening to the water. We were close enough to I-40/Newport to be able to go eat out and pick up items at Walmart. We appreciated the Wi-Fi, especially since there is no cell phone reception. We will definitely be back."

"My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and our other plans fell through. We were looking for a private isolated spot in the mountains and found this house. We made a last minute request and were approved. This cabin was perfect for us! Quiet, cozy, hot tub, fire pit. Everything we love. It was perfect for us to unwind, relax and enjoy each other. Max Patch is close and a great easy hike to enjoy panoramic views of the mountains. Highly recommend. Thanks to the host for letting us stay last minute."

"My husband and I stayed in this cabin to celebrate our 1 yr wedding anniversary and we adored the place! The host was a great commincator and helped with anything we needed. The views were breathtaking. The cabin itself was very clean and it felt like we were the first people to ever use it. It was beautifully crafted and tastefully decorated. The deck is huge. We relaxed in the hottub, which was already heated by the time we arrived so no waiting. The freezer already had some ice too. The minisplits were amazing and kept us cold all night so we could cuddle comfortably. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was amazing. Everything was great 10/10! "

"My family and I loved our stay at "Second Wind" and we were blown away by the views! The house was spacious and easily accommodated my family of four and another family of three. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Our highlights were watching the sunset, cooking, hiking up to the top of mountain (easy, short hike with unbelievable views), driving into Waynesville (cute town!) for day trips, and a morning hike to Midnight Hole just up the road in Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Would definitely come back to place. What a hidden gem!"
