Kandahar Lodge has a gorgeous location and a very friendly and helpful staff. Sitting in front of a roaring fire in the lobby fireplace after a day of hiking was a real treat. The Lodge, however, does have some definite, maintenance issues: the steam room was out of order and the hot tub died during our stay. I had repeated difficulty with the door lock on my room (though the staff was always quick to help out!). The restaurant is currently closed and the continental breakfast was unappealing.

We had a wonderful stay. I loved the location. Breakfast is provided and is really good as well. Rooms are a little outdated but we still had a great time. Bed is comfortable. There's a kitchen area in the room, and if you'd like to prepare anything you can.

The resort was great. The room was so cozy and nice and the staff there are excellent. The included breakfast was a great benefit to start our hiking day.

We loved the rustic decor of the lodge. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and a nice kitchen area. The continental breakfast was perfect for us. They had hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese, yogurt, and assortment of cereal and oatmeal. Pastries and bagels with cream cheese or peanut butter. It is about 45 minute drive to the West Glacier Park entrance. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking.

Beautiful, warm, cozy, mountain retreat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well cared for. Room had microwave, A/C, mini fridge, coffee maker. Beds were comfortable. Continental brekfast was great. No dining options or bar. TV channels were limited. There wasnt ebything open in the resort so we had to go into town for everything. Its a great place to get away.
