Cow Creek Cabin Guesthouse, Whitefish Mt

Cow Creek Cabin sits in a peaceful meadow with a gorgeous view of Big Mountain. Built on the site of an old hay barn next to Cow Creek, it's located just 2 miles from downtown Whitefish, yet feels private and secluded.

This tranquil Montana setting is an ideal home base for adventures in Whitefish. The cabin features vast windows bringing the mountain vista inside. A wood-burning stove awaits your return from a day on the slopes or trails. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc for cooking your own meals. The OLED TV is connected to fast Starlink internet. The partially covered patio offers another area to enjoy the mountain air around the firepit or grill some steaks for supper.

The bedrooms are very comfortable, complete with black-out blinds, and their own AC/heating units. Each bedroom has its own bathroom featuring walk-in showers. And there is a full-size washer and dryer available to use in the closet close to the kitchen.

Pull-out bed in the sofa is comfortable, and linens/blankets are provided.

Perfect!
Cow Creek rocks! Place is modern, clean, and has a fantastic view of Whitefish ski area, which is barely 15 minutes away. Kids really enjoyed watching the groomers do their night time maintenance with headlights on 😁 Perfect distance from town as well. We'll be back when we return next March!

Absolutely amazing property for 2 couples
We stayed here with our dear friends 08/26-0902 and spend 4 of the days in Glacier NP. The property is absolutely perfect for 2 couples. It is well appointed, super clean, comfortable, and has 1st class kitchen cookware. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very classy. The electric shades, front load W&D, grill and gas firepit were all used and appreciated. The owner was great to work with. It is 30 mins from the West Glacier NP entrance, 20 mins to the Whitefish ski resort, and less than 30 mins from the Kalispell Int'l airport. For grocery shopping we suggest the Safeway in Whitefish. We took an overnight bag and stayed one night at the Many Glacier Hotel which was cute but dated (100 yrs old), no AC, and crazy small rooms. We will still do this trip the same again (keep this VRBO and stay one night in Many Glacier) because I could not find any nice hotels or VRBOs on the east side of Glacier. The towns on the east side of Glacier are very poor and offer very few options for dining and shopping. Overall Glacier and this beautiful VRBO both get a 10 our of 10 from both couples.

Cow creek cabin was everything that we could have hoped for. The place itself was spectacular with everything well thought out and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is such a beautiful property and the views were great. My wife even shed a few tears when we left because she loved it so much. Highly highly recommended. Pro tip: stay up late and stargaze at night. 10/10

Best vacation stay ever!
My family and I were expecting a quiet and relaxing vacation when we booked here. This far surpassed what we had hoped for. The views were stellar of the mountains, wildlife was everywhere and this property was the epitome of peace. Everything was top notch and comfortable; we couldn't have hoped for better vacation stay!
