« Our family of eight, plus a pet dog loved being in this home. The fenced in back yard was great for the pup and we enjoyed an evening outside around the patio table chatting, laughing, and catching up. The home was spacious indoors so we didn't feel like we were crowded. Such a cool older home. The home was clean and well stocked. The owner was very good with corresponding. The location was great as we walked to a couple local restaurants and was convenient for our trips to the State Fair...

« The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

« Nice clean cabin. Great location for riding the Greenbrier Trail…only a couple of minutes to the trail on bikes. Easy checkin/checkout. The snacks, water, and chilled beer mugs were a treat. « Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...
