"I had a late check in. It seemed like a bother that I even wanted to stay there. The almost wouldn’t let me stay because it was after midnight. Even though I had booked my room 40 minutes earlier and it was after midnight when I booked it. The room was clean. The air conditioning never kicked on and I woke up sweating. "

"Underneath the kitchen cabinets that are yellowing, there is actual rat feces. And it’s the same cabinet they keep the pots and pans in! There’s ants all over the kitchen. The stovetop only has 1 working burner. The garbage disposal doesn’t work and stinks. The house has a vague smell of smoke. Etc etc etc etc. find somewhere else to stay! "

"The hotel was perfect 10 minute drive from downtown areas 15 minutes from the zoo right near the PNC Park. It was a great place to spend a baseball weekend. There were lots of families and rival fans available to banter back and forth with. Friendly staff and free parking just added to the fun."

"My family and I had a brief stay for a few appointments as we live over four hours away from Pittsburgh. We were so happy with our stay at the Crowne Plaza. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were always so happy and welcoming. Very peaceful and the beds were super comfy! We come to Pitt often and this hotel will be our new go to hotel. A+ in my book."

"Hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The 4 star for amenities was due to the pool being too cold to swim in, and the fire table outside didn’t work-although staff tried their best. Our room was a queen x2 with a trundle couch, and was VERY spacious and clean. However, when we pulled out the trundle there was a lot of garbage under it, so my daughter chose to sleep with us. We assumed it was because people are trying to be helpful and help push it back in prior to checkout. We left it open hoping to resolve issue. We also loved the there was both a shower and sink, and powder room. This made getting ready in the morning so much more efficient and enjoyable. As for the breakfast, it was a hot breakfast with your typical items: an assortment of breads, turkey sausage patties, muffins, cereal, and oatmeal (I think). We got there right at 7am, when it opened and it seemed like they don’t put too much out to avoid items getting cold, old or contaminated, which I happy about. All in all, it was a great stay and we would go back again. One last thing, it is close to a fire station, but we didn’t hear them at all. "
