"For a basic hotel it was nice. Limited outlets for plugging in small electrics, cellphones etc., though. Too few options for lights; bright overhead light or one dim light by a window seat. No lamps; okay if you're not a reader but not good if you are. Fine bathroom. Limited TV stations. Breakfast was fine. Staff was helpful and pleasant."

"We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July weekend! The location was perfect for our travels back and forth with easy drives to Cooperstown, Herkimer, and Howe Caverns.The cabin and property were beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Chris was a great host—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!"

"All around just a cute little place. Very clean and perfect with the fenced in yard for our dogs.This however, does not seem like a side road. Very fast traffic. Busy with motorcycles and racing cars. We walked our pups down to the beach just once to find out it is not pet friendly none of the beaches around there were so that put a bit of a damper on our trip.We will be back next time without them "

"Hadley House was a wonderful experience. The owner greeted us warmly and showed us around, explained some of the history of the home. It has gorgeous woodwork, antique furniture, and the king suite is spacious and comfortable. Every need was met and breakfast was delicious. The extra large cast iron enamel tub was divine. Highly recommended."

Beautiful Mountain Lodge on 32 Private Acres - Real Privacy!

"The cabin is located in a very quiet area. We enjoyed our solitude surrounded by nature. The highlight was the bird and frog songs, especially at dusk. Sitting on the deck, we could hear 4 types of frogs (tree frog, green frog, bull frog and peeper) plus several birds. It was very enjoyable. The walk from the cabin along the road up north is beautiful. There were tons of bright orange salamanders at dusk. We also enjoyed hiking several trails nearby (in Ferris Lake Wilderness Area). The cabin is very clean, comfortable and communication with John was very easy."
