"Jeff was very very nice and welcoming. It was closed till May 1 so there was nothing cleaned up around the outside. There was no ice machine breakfast consisted of pop tarts, etc. but that could be because the place wasn’t opened yet. I don’t know why you guys did not know this. The room was very clean. I had no problem with it. I just wish I had some ice. also, they don’t charge the same issue. They charged a little bit more. May need to do a lot of work up on the outside definitely"

"This property is truly special and an incredible opportunity to have serenity. The hot tub at the edge of the canyon is so unique and special. The grilling station, picnic table, and deck are all first class. The home has been stocked with all of the necessary amenities. The dining room table is wonderful to enjoy the view while enjoying a meal. The stars on a clear night fill the sky with very little distractions. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys nature, privacy, and doesn't mind a long ride on a dirt road. "

"This is a great older property on the highway as you come into Lead from Deadwood. I used to live in town so .camilair with the property and it's history. They have cabins and rooms. We stayed in a room. It was roomy even with a King size bed, plus had a loveseat, tall dinette, dresser, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly property. They are in the process of remodeling the rooms/cabins and other buildings (4/2026), and are adding a fenced-in dog area. There is also a covered patio with picnic tables and grills, and a fire pit in a grassy area. There were no staff on-site, however they were very quick to respond to texts, and have local partners to assist with the minor issues we contacted them about. Excellent customer service. You do get some road noise from the highway, but it didn't keep either of us awake, and I'm a light sleeper. We would recommend it to friends and family, and will stay here again, trying a cabin next time. "
