Just to be clear, the building is not Haunted, it does carry the "Spirt of Yellowstone". We have changed the stay from a 100 years ago, inside plumbing and electricity and available appliances. But we are happy that your felt the historical experience that we try to preserve.

The Madison is a historic property, thus we do not have an elevator the single flight of stairs that people have navigated for 111 years. We also have Motel rooms for those that select the Motel rooms if they can not do a single flight of stairs. The creaky floors are a natural feature and part of the amenity of staying in an original building constructed of logs in 1910-1912.

Our staff is well trained and we truly apricate that your see there efforts. We try to design and find things that our traveling guests would like to have as souvenirs and such. the town of West Yellowstone is fantastic, the Timberline is a great café that has fantastic Pies.

Our staff is very good at their jobs. We are clearly not a New Marriot, we are an original 111 year old property that does the best we can to keep the costs of your stay down as you visit Yellowstone. The room that you had was recently remodeled and we just can not increase the footprint of the room. The parking is what it is also, this place was originally served by stage coach, eve the personal car parking is adapted to meet the needs. If you happen to be traveling with an RV, you can simply park in the "city" parking directly connected by this ally, it is free and safe. We hope that the next time you stay at a Marriot we will be remembered as the small little old hotel, that met your needs and was worth the comparison. Glad to have you stay with us.

This guest never finished checking in at our hotel, we refunded all his funds when he requested that and stayed elsewhere.

Yes, as per our policies, our housekeeping staff does not enter the room at all during your stay with us. We do, however, service your room by request if you need your trash taken out or towels refreshed. We do not change sheets daily nor make the beds due to personal belongings always being left on or too close to the beds in the past. We do not move or touch any guests belonging, thus our policy. We are very happy you enjoyed your stay otherwise. We hope to see you during your next adventure to Yellowstone!!

The Hotel is unique and memorable. We do our best preserving the feel it's had for 111 years, along with some modern benefits like the hot drink services on 24 hrs a day, WIFI, areas to lounge as the rooms are historically small.

West Yellowstone is a Great Small town with everything you need to experience Yellowstone's grandeur. The Sunday S'mores are a treat that we enjoy putting on with the guests being the best part.

Travis, This is not fully at all accurate and your assessment of my Wife is not accurate in the least. Your comments are unfounded and totally inappropriate! We hope you and your wife enjoy your many stays elsewhere because you clearly didn't like our place. If I spoke about you or your wife that way you would be greatly offended, but you dug your own disgracefully hole not even knowing for certain who you actually spoke to.

We cover this refresh policy in our policies that you read at least a few times and signed off, telling you that we do not enter your room for a refresh, we will exchange towels at the door when notified. If you really must have someone make your bed, please bring your mother next time to Yellowstone, she will appreciate it. Even though your room cost was only 266 and if you recall it was less cost than the others and that motivated you to book with us.

The room 117 is actually a "large room" for our property with a King bed, it is not as large as a modern Motel. West Yellowstone is a perfect launching spot for a visit to Yellowstone.

Due to the rooms being built in the 1920's they are small. We made the arrangement the way it is because with the sink in the bathroom, you would have scoot around the sink to get to the shower and the toilet. It is a unique property.
