« We loved our stay at Codley Gate Cottage. It is well equipped as a home away from home. We especially love the big kitchen for home cooked meals and the wood burning stove that helps to take the chill off, at the end of a day well spent in the beautiful Northumberland countryside! »

« Property manager forgot to send code for key safe. Managed to get it indirectly by email but no easy contact was forthcoming thereafter. Street door lock cheap and worn. Next door to lobby broken and taped up. Lobby not been cleaned for weeks. Cheap lock on door to apartment. Security practically non existent. Six windows (2 in living room,2 in each bedroom) screwed shut.Not safe , awaiting replacement. Only window that opened for ventilation in kitchen.If open possible to step directly into...

« I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

« Very pleasant stay. Minor annoyance was strict check on time between 5 and 6 to allow for full clean. Would not class as full clean as bin had dirty tissues in it and cutlery/some kitchen ware needed washing before use »

« Sara and Chris were the perfect hosts. They really made our break away something to remember. The Snug had everything we wanted and more besides. The Valentine treats were a lovely gesture and much enjoyed. My little girl slept on her rose petals every night! Everything was so thoughtful from the extra bird and squirrel food to the sliders for use in the hot tub, which we also loved. We loved the walk to the lake and had a delicious meal in the Coach House, but the highlight was our 'pet' red...

« A picturesque inn, in a beautiful area. Staff made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Throughout our stay, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy room with spacious bathroom. Meals were excellent. Chefs are first class and every meal cooked to perfection. Quality food. A hearty breakfast provided a great start to our days.
