Fun Family Trip
My husband, 1 year old and in-laws had a wonderful stay here. The beach is one of the best on the entire island. It was so great to have an area for my son to play just outside our door. Spacious and clean. Would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing comfort
Seafarer cottage was exactly as described , clean spacious , well stocked ,relaxing with a lovely view and great neighbours . The management company was great accommodating our changing schedule and even taking us to the grocery store on the way which as it was dark was so helpful. We had an issue with the bicycles and they fixed it virtually straight away . We didn’t hire a car which would have been beneficial however we took mossys tour (the neighbour) of the island which we highly recommend Overall a lovely island and a great place to stay

Charming cottage with magical views and the best neighbors!
This is our second stay and already planning to return this year. Excellent location for snorkeling, [steps out the door] birding, [Whistling Ducks/ Peregrine Falcon/Pelicans/Bitterns and many more ] and morning and evening walks. Kitchen easy to work in and has all needed for daily meal prep. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Spectacular Spot!
We really enjoyed our 4 nights at this property. Our plane arrived early on our first day and we were able to check-in early which was very helpful and much appreciated. The beach in front was easily accessed and protected with the reef so that the water didn't get too choppy. We snorkeled right in front of the house and saw lobster, stingrays, and several fish. We enjoyed the patio facing the water and spent the majority of our time out there watching the waves or watching the stars. The location was ideal, walking distance to the Captain's Table, and very close to the Brac Scuba Shack and a grocery store. We wouldn't definitely stay at the Seafarer again and recommend it to others! Thank you for sharing your special place!

Brac perfect Vacation
A perfect place to stay while diving on Cayman Brac. The Brac Scuba Shack, is the perfect dive company, no more than 10 divers per boat. The deck is the ideal place for a massage by Kelly, at the beach spa, ocean sounds, gentle breeze, warm sun, or cool evening.. The condo is ideal for 2 couples or a family, snorkeling right off the beach is like a fish nursery, in just a few feet of crystal clear water. New A/cs are super and quiet. Wonderful time back.

4 Seafarer peace in paradise
What a great location and property. Right on the beach and within easy distance of the dive companies. The owners were wonderful. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Be sure to introduce yourself to mossy and don't miss sushi Tuesday at the Bartacuda bar.

The perfect getaway
A lovely and relaxing place to get away from city life. The only sound we consistently heard was the waves crashing on the reef. The rusty beach cruisers were all we needed on most days to get to the Scuba Shack for diving (highly recommend!), local restaurants, and even grocery shopping. Ended our stay with a tour of the island from Mossy, who lives just next door. Diving was the highlight, where sponges and fish well outnumbered people we saw during our stay. Even squeezed in a couple evening kayak excursions. The unit was well equipped and clean, with AC in every room to keep things comfortable. Overall just what we needed!

We absolutely loved this property. The location is fantastic, and it is hard to beat being able to drink coffee on the deck every morning while watching the calm water in the reef-protected lagoon. We definitely plan to stay here again.

A Little Slice of Paradise
Like Zac Brown says, "Toes in the water..." You can tour the entire island in one day which leaves a lot of time to spend on that deck under that umbrella or snorkeling the "lagoon".

Best Place to Stay on the Island
We spent 12 glorious days staying at Seafarer 4 and loved it. We like laid back comfort and convenience and this unit delivers. The end unit is about 15 steps from the water's edge where we snorkeled everyday. The water is protected by a reef about 100 feet out. You can easily swim to the reef and even walk on the bar at low tide. We saw lobsters and many colorful fish. There are two good restaurants within a very short walk and the grocery store is near by but I recommend using Moseys cab if you don't have a car. We grilled on the porch and spent a good deal of time sitting in the very comfortable chairs on the deck overlooking the water and enjoying the shade provided by the umbrella. When the notion struck, we grabbed our gear and went snorkeling right in front of the unit. Then we could rinse off outside and sit some more on the deck. The unit is well equipped and we fixed breakfast and a few other meals there. We frequently visited the restaurants nearby and tried some others the second week when we rented a car to explore the island. The beds were comfortable and the fans and a/c worked well when desired. The shower is roomy and well designed. I could go on and on about how great this place was. If you want a comfortable, convient, and beautiful place to stay, this is it. .

Wonderful house on the water
A lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the waterfront access (the house sits on a kind of protected area with very little current, although not a lot to see) and a porch overlooking the ocean where you can watch the stars at night. There are few (local) neighbors who are quiet but friendly (had a knock on my door one day - I had dropped my wallet in the parking lot and one of the neighbors was returning it to me). It was pretty much exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful living on the beach!
This home was amazing! Beautiful ocean view from the living room, so close that you feel like you are at the beach when you’re at home. Spacious living room and kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, gorgeous shower, washer and dryer, this place has it all. It’s easy to swim in the beautiful sea right from the front yard and the water is always calm. We brought our baby into the water daily and he had fun playing on the beach. Plus, we saw an octopus on the dock at night! The neighbors are sweet too. You feel part of a community but you still have lots of privacy. This place is true paradise!

Clean, tastefully decorated, everything you need, walkout to a deck and private beach! We loved it!
Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Need to rent a car. Beach is not sandy so you need water shoes. Lots of sandy area in the water a bit deeper. Snorkeling off the beach is amazing. The walkout to the private beach and views and sounds of the waves crashing over the reef are mystifying could just sit and watch all day long. The Captain’s Table, Barracuda and Pat’s Kitchen are all wonderful restaurants with very friendly Bracers to talk to and learn about the history of the Brac. Mossy tours is great and a do not miss. Sunsets, Sunrises and beach walks makes this a perfect hide-a-way vacation spot. We will be back.

Perfect place to relax
We can highly recommend Seafarer #4. This was our second trip to the property and couldn't wait to get back. The setting is unbelievable - right on the beach. A perfect place to relax. The owner Tom was very accommodating and worked with us when we had issues with our schedule. We will definitely return.

Great Relaxing Trip
We stayed at this cute and relaxing place for 6 wonderful days. The bikes provided carried us to most of our adventures although we did rent a car for a couple of days too. The place itself is right on a protected bay and I originally thought there wasn't much life there. Boy was I wrong - the day before we left, I saw a reef shark, rays, turtles, barracuda and a tons of fish. I highly recommend this place!

Truly lovely rental, the best neighbors on island! Snorkeling steps from rental, with spotted eagle rays,nurse sharks,and lemon sharks seen daily. Good birding within walking distance ,saw both west Indies and black belly whistling ducks,Moorhead chicks and a falcon. Owner easy to work with and excellent. Caretaker Van.

Great
Loved being right on the beach; snorkeling straight from the house. There's a small reef to the right with lots of fish. We saw an octopus right ON the dock our first morning which was pretty cool. The outdoor shower was much appreciated. The home is clean and has everything you need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect little island
This is the place to be for quiet time and a step back in time. Nothing fancy here but if you're looking for peace, quiet and perfection, here it is. Find the neighbor "Mossy" and do his island tour, he's awesome. Hang out at the couple of bars around and get to know the locals. Second trip here and we love it so much we bought a condo here.

We had another wonderful time at this property.
My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in April 2018. This was our second visit to this property and it was just as good, if not better than our first. Please see my previous review for a more detailed explanation of the condo, needless to say nothing has changed aside from the owner installing upgraded air conditioning units. Literally on the water's edge
We loved this property as it is literally on the water's edge. Beautiful deck to enjoy the breezes while sitting enjoying the surf. The reef makes a protected cove area that you can swim and snorkel in. Current is a little strong but manageable. Perfect location to watch the sunset as it is on the western end of the island. Minutes from the airport, the market, and several good restaurants. Very quiet island if you are looking for a complete getaway from it all. Snorkeling and diving are outstanding. The property itself is 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Living room area (only has couch seating for 2-3 people so could use a bit more), tv, kitchen table for 4 and a nice kitchen with all the amenities of home. Washer and dryer in the unit. Plenty of linens available, although again only 2 beach towels. The only complaint we had is the air conditioner unit is not working and clearly hasn't for a while. There are 2 AC units in each of the bedrooms and they have a fan pulling the air out into the living room. In the later afternoon, it got pretty warm in the unit. It's the only reason I am taking 1 star off or it would be a 5 star vacation rental.

Sorry for the AC issue. The new unit for the living room came in incorrectly, so we only got the bedroom units installed, before guests started arriving for the winter season. They are scheduled to put the living room unit in during the week of March 11. That is the first opportunity since December we have had. Hopefully you can come back again and enjoy the Brac with full AC.

Perfect for those who snorkel
Seafarer #4 was perfect for us. The unit is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The water view was beautiful. It was so nice to be able to snorkel right from the unit at any time, even if the sea was rough, the nearby reef offered protection so the "sound" was always accessible. We saw lots of fish, crabs, lobsters, conch, tarpon, and an Eagle Ray. The property manager, Van, met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. He was very helpful and gave us lots of useful information. I would definitely stay here again.

It is amazing the amount of sealife you can see inside the reef as it protects the lagoon pretty well. Everyday is a new adventure and you don't really know what you may find. hope you get a chance to enjoy the Brac again.

The house is clean and right on the beach.
There is access to the water right from the house. Not all properties have that on Cayman Brac. The neighbors are so nice and so are the locals. The house has a beautiful view of the ocean and you can see the sunrise and sunset from the property. You can snorkel from the property. Swim shoes are a good idea. The beds are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of towels. There is a full kitchen,with all kinds of pots, pans and kitchen gadgets. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing getaway
Seafarer #4 was wonderful. We had a fantastic week. We relaxed on the patio, snorkeled in the sound (and at several other places around the island), and enjoyed diving with Brac Scuba Shack just down the road. The property provided everything we needed - clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Vanderline met our plane and showed us how to get there and was available if we needed anything. There were even 2 bikes and a kayak available for us to use - although we didn't get around to it. We enjoyed playing "Roll For It" so much that we ordered it for ourselves. This was our first trip after our retirement and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Tom, for allowing us to share your little bit of paradise.

Lovely condo indeed
This was a splurge for just the two of us. Everything is very expensive on Cayman Brac to start with! The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. There is a Queen sized bed in each bedroom. The kitchen is with everything one would need although it could have had a tea kettle. But no worries, I just used a pot to boil water. Lots of towels. There is a kayak but we did not use it. The weather was a bit choppy when we were on the Brac. We did snorkel out the back where there is a small reef-type area and saw fish and sea urchins. Having a nice deck to sit on was part of our day. Van, the manager is prompt and extremely nice. He gets anything you need done in a flash. There are two bicycles and the first day we used them, my pedal came off. Walked the bike back and gave him a call. Within five minutes, a repair man was there and we never had another issue. Having the bicycles were wonderful. This condo is perfect for two-four people. The sofa in the living room turns into a bed but I think it is best to keep as a sofa. The next door (not a condo occupant) has a dog that did not stop barking and was bothersome. I left a message with the owner of the condo and the problem was resolved. Remember, you really need water shoes on this island. People on the Brac are kind. There was never a moment when we felt unsafe. We snorkeled and left items and unlocked bikes and knew nothing would be taken or gone thru.

Wonderful place to stay!
This was our first trip to Cayman Brac after several trips to Grand Cayman, and we were very happy that we came. Cayman Brac is a laid back little island with nice people and great diving and snorkeling. When we arrived, the property manager, Van, met us at the airport and escorted us to the grocery store and to the property itself. Van was very kind and knowledgeable (and helpful when we had some questions during our stay) The owner also left a binder with very useful information about Cayman Brac. The house more than met our expectations as it was well laid out, nicely decorated, with a nice kitchen and new appliances, and backed on to a beach. The neighbours were very friendly. We did some scuba diving with Brac Scuba Shack who are about 5 min drive away and had an excellent experience with them. Snorkeling was easily done from the beach (parts are a little rocky, so you should wear water shoes). This is a really nice house in a good location. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing and pleasant stay in Cayman Brac.

Amazing
Perfect place with one of the few beaches around. Loved being able to snorkel right off shore. The people here are amazing, met some great friends and can't wait to go back. This place is ideal for quiet and secluded, so much better than the highrise condos. Barry's chicken shack was the best meal! , The bar at the end of the road had great BBQ and Jessica at Barracuda Bar makes the stiffest drinks and the best coffee! Star Island has a huge selection of food and it's amazing. The # 1 thing to do though is the Island tour with Mossy Tours. Do that on Day 1, you'll learn so much about the island and the history, you can't go wrong with Mossy, what a great guy. The swimming hole is the best spot to go for a swim at sunset but you'll have to do the tour to find out where it is! If you snorkel, take your gear everywhere! Oh, and hit the grocery store Thursday evening or Friday morning after the ship comes in.

Exceeded our expectations! The view from the deck is the best and loved the white sand beach .
I had read all the reviews before we rented seafarer #4 and liked what we read so selected this condo for our vacation. Exceeded our expectations! Location is amazing! You have your very own piece of beach, good snorkeling out the back door, restaurants and liquor store you can walk to. Thanks for having us and we hope to return one day! We would stay at the Seafarer again and again!!! Only mistake we made was not staying long enough!

Great place to get away
This place is the last unit and right on the beach. The reef outside formed a natural wall to keep all big waves out in the distance. The water is clear, warm and calm, full of colorful fish and lobsters! We even saw small reef sharks, barracuda. My 7 year old son loves the shallow water and name it his little "fishy town". if you want a get away from the tourists packed "seven miles beach", this is the place.

Amazing!
My wife and I spent 2 weeks at Seafarer #4 in April 2017. We had an amazing time and this property was the perfect place from which to base our exploration of Cayman Brac. We came to the Brac mainly for the solitude and to scuba dive, with dives planned almost every morning of our stay with nearby Brac Scuba Shack. The owner Tom was very helpful with any questions we had and his property manager, Van was excellent. The location of Seafarer is wonderful, the perfect spot really. The view from the patio out to the ocean was a great way to greet each day. As others have said, Seafarer #4 is part of a complex of 9(I believe) units. 4 being on the end overlooking the semi private beach area. It is a very quiet area and when the neighbor's dock lights turn off for the evening, the view of the stars and night sky is simply amazing. The living room area is well furnished and the end tables with USB hook ups for charging is a very nice touch. The kitchen is large and very nicely outfitted with everything one would need to prepare pretty much any meal. The two bedrooms are sizable and I could see this condo easily sleeping 6, including the living room pull out. 4 might be a bit more comfortable though. The bathroom was comfortable and well appointed. This unit has a washer and dryer, both worked excellent the few times we used them. There are 2 restaurants and a liquor store within walking distance. We can't recommend the Captain's Table up the road a bit highly enough. It's proximity to Seafarer and the people we met there had us returning almost every night. Be sure to stop in on Taco Tuesday! We had a wonderful time, our two weeks on the Brac, and Tom & Van were excellent to work with. They were very nice to help us add a channel to the condos cable package so that we could watch the Stanley Cup playoffs while we were there. It's very rare that after 2 weeks we don't find ourselves missing home a little bit and being pretty much ready to return to reality. This time, not so much... We were not ready to leave, not even remotely, and wish we could have enjoyed Seafarer, the Brac and the hospitality its people much longer than we were able. Overall, we highly recommend Seafarer #4 and we will definitely be returning. Joe & Kelly from MN.

Perfect!!
We really enjoyed staying at Seafarer #4. The pictures really don't capture how nice this home is. The open concept living, dining, kitchen is larger than it appears in the pictures. The home is clean and equipped with all the amenities you will need. The deck off the living room is the perfect spot to relax, feed the lizards, and watch the wild life. We even got to watch a shark feeding on the reef two days in a row at low tide. There's a young barracuda in the lagoon that we would watch feed also. The snorkeling right out the door is amazing. We saw a lion fish, 2 eel, and hundreds of other various fish. Even though it's in a complex of 9 units, I was always the only person laying on the beach. Van, the property manager, was great. Since we arrived on Sunday when the grocery stores are closed he did some grocery shopping for us. He gave us contact info to book a fishing trip but it was too windy. We had a minor problem with the internet and tv and he took care of it right away. Van is such a nice guy that we have actually kept in contact with him since returning home. We had a perfect vacation.

The place to be for a relaxing vacation
This unit has everything a person could wish for, a terrific view of the ocean, steps away from the water. A perfect sheltered protected area for swimming and snorkelling. Nice to be able to have a kayak to take out also. The condo has everything, a fully equipped kitchen, local telephone. Wifi. A quiet and relaxing spot, great deck for sunbathing, watching the tides and rock lizards. The dive boats were just outside the reef, wish I would of been brave enough to try. We opted not to rent a car, our neighbour Richard has a tour and taxi business. We toured the island with him, very informative, and he took us to the grocery store when needed. The liquor store is a short walk and two restaurants are close by Captain's Table good food, very friendly and Corel Isle Club, delivery was also available from a Asian restaurant and pizza place. We had a great Valentine's meal at the Brac Reef Beach Resort. Van (property manager) met us at the airport, arranged bikes for us and checked up to make sure everything was okay. Thank-you Tom for the use of your home, for us, this was the best place on Cayman Brac. We will take the sound of the ocean waves home and feel the breeze.

I would only recommend this island & condo for those who want to get away from it all! Van picked us up at the airport & showed us where the important locations were. The condo is an open concept, clean. 2 beds, 1 firm, 1 soft. There was cookware, appliances (even a blender for my smoothies), towels, everything you may need. The patio doors open to the beach to catch the ocean breeze. The kayak was fun & the snorkeling fantastic. Only us in the water. Did I say it was quiet? It was dark by 7pm with only the ocean sounds to keep you company. Restaurants & market were within walking distance. We rented a car for a day to see the East side of the island but were happy to just stay in our area the rest of the time. The islanders were more than willing to answer our questions. I'm a SIBO (low carb diet) & was concerned about food. Due to the strong winds the barge was delayed. Fresh produce & milk products were in short supply. We were disappointed there wasn't better access to fresh fish. Thank goodness for fried plantain. We are going to try to get back! Thank you Tom! We loved it.

Perfect stay on Cayman Brac
This really is a treasure. Located directly on the beach with a kayak parked on the sand ready to go. This tastefully decorated apartment is fully equipped with a beautiful kitchen (complete with modern appliances), cosy living room with cable TV, a laundry, two spacious bedrooms and a modern bathroom. I stayed 3 nights but could have easily spent a week here. I will return again one day. The apartment is located close to the airport, dive resorts, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Perfectly convenient to everything. The owners are wonderful as is their local agent. Highly recommended.

Do not hesitate
Wonderfull house and location, perfect for a beach house. Good snorkeling right there -shallow a with a slight undangerous current because you are totally reef protected. We even saw two lion fish right there at 2 feet deep.

The property was exactly as presented. Clean,well decorated and comfortable.
Mt wife & I stayed at this property for 2 weeks, May 16th through May 27th 2016. We enjoy the Sun & Ocean and take some type of vacation each year to this type of destination. #4 Seafarer was exactly what we needed for some good rest and relaxation. I am certain that we will return. If you also like to Snorkle or Dive, it's a very desireable location for these activities as well. There is also easy access to Grand Cayman & Little Cayman as well. Cutest little place ever!
Let me just start by saying that the photos of this place do not do it justice. My friends and I went up for a weekend for the Bracs yearly carnival "Braccanal". As soon as we walked through the door we automatically felt at home! Everything we could possibly need was already in the house! Lets not forget to mention the views every morning. We are all from Grand Cayman the sister island, however, none of us wake up to the views we had in the Brac. That beautiful beach view was automatically a great start to the day. Our other friends were there every single minute eventhough they stayed on the other side of the island simply because in their words not mine "your house looks and feels so much better than ours!" Needless to say they weren't too thrilled that they couldn't stay. It is close to restuarants, market and the airport which was perfect for us! i'm sure you're thinking "well it's Cayman Brac of course it's all close" but our villa was in the perfect location. It was THE most perfect little place. I will most definately be staying here again!

SALTY WONDERLAND
If you don't want fuss or pretense but rather sheer bliss, than this is the perfect spot for the perfect getaway. The view is outstanding. The beach is sweet and just right. Anyone who wants a pool is ridiculous. There is no need as your room overlooks a pristine protected reef perfect for swimming. You absolutely need nothing but to allow yourself to go off grid. For those who prefer being connected there is tv & internet. I prefer neither. So it worked for our mixed group of those who needed social media and those who preferred detaching. It is low key, extremely clean, full of all you need and close to everything in town for a happy escape. We shopped local markets and ate in most times but also enjoyed touring local nature sites and enjoying the island restaurants. My favorite part is the owners are so helpful and thoughtful along with the ever Cayman-kind culture of locals. They have a kettle grill for cooking fresh fish (you can find down on the govt pier), private kayaks, nice lounge chairs and a brand new private deck. There is even a washer and dryer if you are really ambitious and want to clean your clothes. But in terms of views, sunrises, and relaxing, all your needs are well thought out here. I will definitely be returning. I'd rate it higher than a 5-star I enjoyed it so much. Now add to your stay the beauty and peacefulness of the Brac and all it delivers by land or sea and you'll be planning your return trip before you depart. In other words, it leaves you wishing for more.

Excellent all around!
Wow what a great stay! Communications with the property owner and manager was excellent. Got picked up at the airport. Property discription was spot on even down to the three footed lizard in the pictures. Neighbors were super friendly. Quite and safe location. Grocery store was near the airport, just over a mile away. Two restaurants and liquor store is a 5 minute walk. Had a great time diving with Scuba Shack all week which is a 6 minute walk. Highly recommend.
