"We were pleasantly surprised that this place was even nicer than the photos. It was very well equipped with little extras and all you would need. "What a wonderful apartment! It’s right in tbe old town of Partenkirchen and surrounded by restaurants and cafes/bakeries. It was quite large and plenty warm during a very cold weekend. All of the bedrooms do have doors. Two spacious bathrooms, one with a bathtub perfect for kids. The underground parking was quite low and tight, and we couldn’t fit our van in. But there is plenty of free overnight street parking."

"Place was nicely located on main tourist street and steps from multiple restaurants, bakeries, and hiking trails. While the apartment was large and well laid out, it could use a little love in two areas: walls and beds. The paint was really dinged up and walls were dirty, needs to be repainted. Also the beds in the master with en-suite bathroom were bad. For the master suite you should have a queen or king bed, not two twins shoved together. A quick call to Sven led to him meeting us to let us in the rental. "This is a sprawling complex that is tucked away from the main part of Garmisch-Partenkirchen but still accessible via car, taxi, bus, or even just a nice walk. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony. This was plenty of room two parents and two adult children (though they did have to sleep in bunk beds which was throwback to childhood memories). I also enjoyed the free taijiquan class in the adjacent training facility. We plan to stay again."

The location isn't ideal for walking with luggage from the train station. Its about a 30 minute walk. However they will give you a city card for the bus network.
