Check in went well. Friendly person. Liked the ground floor room. People above our room started moving furniture & stomping on the floor at 4 AM Sunday which continued until we decided to bag it & leave. Room wasn't as clean as we were hoping for. The sink had some dark colored substance stuck on it and the baseboards in the main room & bathroom were dingy & need to be cleaned.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful, offering restaurant suggestions and providing directions as well as following up to ensure our stay was satisfactory! I had left behind my ipad in the room and they promptly contacted me and made arrangements to send it to me. Motel was in an excellent location, close to beaches, seafood restaurants and Congdon's Doughnuts!

Cozy motel
Super friendly staff and an amazing price for being so close to downtown Ogunquit and Wells. Rooms are simple, but clean and well-stocked. Nice outdoor pool area. Will definitely return next time we’re in the area!

The family running the place were very nice. This facility was seriously outdated, the pics were not at all like the actual room. It was super outdated and nasty. The walls were stained, the floor was damp and sunken in places. The table and chairs were not adequate to hold anyone who may be heavy. I am not but couldn't use them. There were ants, and I feel foolish for wasting so much of my money. I left after one night. This is not a place to stay if you want to have restful time in the room.

We have been staying here for the last 3-4 years and just love it. Harry and Mona always remember their guests. No worries about cleanliness, the family does an awesome job. We would also recommend Stutseys next door, great food and drinks! See you next year Harry and Mona!!!!!

Hit or miss!
Very nice hosts! Comfortable room. Pool area very clean… daily maintenance was noticeable. Unfortunately, the family above us let their kids run wild our last night… running, pouncing, pounding, and then it started up again before 6 in the morning! A word of advice… book the second floor!

The room we stayed in (117) was so damp it had a terrible musty smell when we walked in the door. The floor of the bathroom was actually wet from the moisture. Also, the deadbolt lock does not even work properly so we had to put a chair under the doorknob to feel at all safe. I would not recommend this motel.

Couple great days in Wells !
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Older hotel but very clean. Big room and comfortable and clean bed. Pool was also nice and very clean...Great for a place to crash. Very quiet and room darkening shades...would recommend and go back.

Owners where just so nice! Friendly atmosphere. Clean rooms. A/C worked! Pool very clean and enough chairs for all and tables/umbrellas. Really nice place. Close to everything. Own parking wich was nice. Will go back!

If this was about hospitality, it would be a 10. The hotel is only a couple dozen rooms which make it quiet which is nice. the rooms however are dated. I could live with out of style, but cleanliness was a problem. The sink had visible rust and there was mold in the shower. It is clear that the owners want their customers to be happy, but they must focus on cleanliness above all,

I enjoyed how easy it was to ride my bike into Ogunquit and Wells. The heated pool was very clean and enjoyable after being in the ocean or biking. Harry and Mona stop what they are doing to talk and genuinely connect with you.

This is our third year coming back to Seacoast Motel and we love it. Harry and Mona makes us feel at home. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. We enjoyed the heated pool. We will see you again next year!

Very small motel and dated but overall well kept and clean. We were surprised by how comfortable and soft the bed was! The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend you're looking for an affordable option in the area!

If it were just about hospitality then Mona & Harry are delightful. But the condition of our room was marginal. Things were clean and roomy but the lighting and bathroom fan were in need of help. The building is located adjacent to Rte 1 and our room was closest to the roadway next to the office. That meant for loud traffic starting around 6am. Meanwhile the rooms were almost entirely vacant and the nice looking pool was not open until the weekend. Not something shared when confirming the reservation. We did end up using the well maintained gas grill one night though it was up to us to connect the propane tank to the feed line though we stated our intended use. They did supply a shiny new set of cooking utensils. So if it's a budget option you want with genuinely nice people at the helm this might work. But given the 4.4 star review I think we expected better.

I was disappointed in this property and definitely would not stay again. I thought the room was very dated and needed some much needed upkeep and cleaning. Baseboards and floors very dirty, rusted sink and walls in poor condition. We had one roll of toilet paper for a 2 night stay. We ran out and couldn't get replacement because no one ever was in office. Same problem when we ran out of coffee. Lots of issues withTV. Last night we just gave up on TV and went to bed. Not a great experience at all! The only positive is that the 1 time we met the owner, he was very nice.
