The beds were comfy and the showers were large enough to put your belongings in! Staff was friendly. The staff were friendly, very convenient and close to courtenay place to experience the wellington nightlife. Also close to shops, the te papa museum, other restaurants and the waterfront. There's a hostel side and a hotel side, and the hostel side was kind of gross. I did not like that they didn't have a single full sized sink. Everything felt dirty, I never saw more than one cleaning lady handling all the rooms and bathroom and kitchen. The sheets and bedding were clean, the pillow was questionable. They do give you a towel, so that was nice. And the staff were really friendly and helpful.
