"This is a wonderful hotel with clean, spacious rooms, and a good location within walking distance of several retaurants and a movie theater. We liked that the rooms have plenty of plugs, including a few USB plugs for your devices. The housekeeping staff was great. We didn't use the pool or the fitness center, but both looked quite nice. The hotel lobby is spacious and inviting. They do not have a hot tub, which would have been nice, and the breakfast is okey but nothing special--some type of egg patties, sausage, muffins, bagels, DIY waffles, juices, milk, cereal, a little fruit--the usual things you find in many free (included) hotel breakfast buffets."

"It was easy to find and is a good location. We left our car parked and walked to downtown. We stayed for only one night and did not use the pool or spa. The room came with a tablet, headphones and a infrared mask. The room was clean and I love how it was decorated. The lobby/check in area very cutely decorated and I was pleasantly surprised. We did go to The Caldwell for dinner and a drink. It is cutely decorated as well and has a great relaxing atmosphere. The cornbread is excellent and it is great that it is on site."

"The Armstrong is a lovely boutique hotel that is well-appointed with an attentive and friendly staff. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Fort Collins and is close to an almost overwhelming number of bars and restaurants. Since the hotel is an updated older property, the rooms are on the small side and you may encounter minor quirks. The only issue we encountered was the noise level outside of quiet hours. Music from the lobby is noticeable in your room, but only from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Some may enjoy having a background soundtrack, but we found it slightly obtrusive. Finally, the room prices seem to vary widely depending on the date, so having a flexible schedule may save you quite a bit of money. If you prefer the unique character of a boutique hotel over a large chain, you will probably enjoy your stay at the Armstrong."

"The room was clean but very outdated and had an old-house smell. We asked twice for the room to be refreshed, but no one came. Our laundry and trash were also never picked up despite requesting it. We asked for additional towels and toilet paper, which were dropped off on the table by the door rather than placed in the bathroom. The toilet paper already in the room was also covered in some sort of blue substance. Overall, the lack of housekeeping and follow-through on our requests was disappointing."
