"My family and I loved this place. We caught 3 catfish in about 35 brim. All of them good eats. This place was relaxing and had everything we needed. We loved it so much. We stayed an extra day( with permission) would love to come back!The Tough Wilson family."

"We booked last minute for Clemson parents weekend. It worked out fine, it is really in the middle of no where. There are no outlets in the bathroom you have to use the kitchen mirror and outlets to get ready. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. It was very clean. The deck needs some work."

"Solid place! Super charming and rustic like you would expect. Reminds me of an old-school Lake house, but much nicer and way more comfortable. The place was clean and looked like it is kept well in between rentals. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you’d expect to get started and then some. AC worked well, but the ceilings are tall so you’ll definitely want to kick the fans on immediately to help cool things down more quickly. Outside temperature was in the 90s during the day at low 70s at night. Water pressure was good in the master. Didn’t check the others. Toilets all flushed well, with no issues. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and signal seemed strong with very little lag while watching football games on YouTubeTV. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels. We were only there for two nights for a Clemson game so we didn’t need much while we were there but if you’re planning to stay for longer, make sure you get everything you need while you’re in town because it is a good drive to get back to the nearest store. I would definitely rent this place again."

"We had the best time and absolutley LOVE this property! This is our second time staying here and it was just as PERFWCT!They were quick to respond to answer any questions and the accommodations met all of our needs! The private dock was the best! They had extra life jackets and floats! We loved everything about this property and wil stay AGAIN!! "
Mid Century 4 BR Lake Hartwell Home with Great views, good vibes, + large dock

"We had a really good time. The view was beautiful and it was nice and peaceful. I traveled with my 85 year old Dad and 89 year old Mom. We used to live in Hartwell and camped on Lake Hartwell. We planned on renting a boat and taking them around the lake to see some of the places they used to go. The pictures did not include the 8-10 steps, without a hand rail, down to the boat dock in the pictures. In fairness Jamie did tell me the path to the lake was steep and I might want to look for another place, but we were bringing a golf cart and I thought we could make it work. It was difficult for Dad to go down the steps but impossible for Mom. It was also a little difficult getting her in the front door and a hand rail would have been very helpful. We were able to get Mom on the boat at the nearby Mary Ann Branch Boat Ramp so that was nice.All in all it was a nice stay and it would be great for younger people, but a little difficult for my elderly parents."

"Wonderful property right on the water. Very charming and rustic cabin. The only reason I didn't give it t stars is the beds were not the most comfortable. If they had been more comfortable I would definitely give it t stars. Everything else was wonderfu!l"

"The property could use a little updating especially the outside but otherwise it’s a great place. Beautiful lake view and fun dock. Host was very responsive to any questions. The kitchen was updated and very nice. The indoor staircase was a little scary and would be difficult to manage for people with mobility issues. Also the rocks on the path to the lake were a little unstable. Overall, however we would go back and we had a great time."
