"We booked last minute for Clemson parents weekend. It worked out fine, it is really in the middle of no where. There are no outlets in the bathroom you have to use the kitchen mirror and outlets to get ready. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. It was very clean. The deck needs some work."

"This was our 2nd time to stay at this home The host was responsive and checked on us mid-week. We had everything we needed. The property is better than the pictures, I believe. The lot is nice with a slope. The double decker dock is great for sunsets and a nicer view. The firepit was nice to use and there was firewood available. We cooked steaks on the charcoal grill. Stores are nearby for everything needed. We only ate out once at Fork Grove Barbeque. Recommend! Paddleboarding in the peaceful cove was nice. Our dog was happy here. We had a good relaxing week."

Mid Century 4 BR Lake Hartwell Home with Great views, good vibes, + large dock

"We had a really good time. The view was beautiful and it was nice and peaceful. I traveled with my 85 year old Dad and 89 year old Mom. We used to live in Hartwell and camped on Lake Hartwell. We planned on renting a boat and taking them around the lake to see some of the places they used to go. The pictures did not include the 8-10 steps, without a hand rail, down to the boat dock in the pictures. In fairness Jamie did tell me the path to the lake was steep and I might want to look for another place, but we were bringing a golf cart and I thought we could make it work. It was difficult for Dad to go down the steps but impossible for Mom. It was also a little difficult getting her in the front door and a hand rail would have been very helpful. We were able to get Mom on the boat at the nearby Mary Ann Branch Boat Ramp so that was nice.All in all it was a nice stay and it would be great for younger people, but a little difficult for my elderly parents."

"The property could use a little updating especially the outside but otherwise it’s a great place. Beautiful lake view and fun dock. Host was very responsive to any questions. The kitchen was updated and very nice. The indoor staircase was a little scary and would be difficult to manage for people with mobility issues. Also the rocks on the path to the lake were a little unstable. Overall, however we would go back and we had a great time."
