She did proactively offer a $100 discount. Upon arrival I checked the hot tub to see if it was fixed and found it mostly empty and full of leaves. It sure looked like it had been out of order for more than a few days and left me wondering how long the host really knew it wouldn't be available for our use and why she waited til the last minute to tell us. We found two towels in the bathroom that disgustingly reeked of car urine. Unfortunately my wife discovered this the hard (gross) way putting one on her head after a shower. When I contacted the host about this she told us she was sorry it didn't meet our "expectations" like it was an "us problem." All the furniture is getting uncomfortable and run down. There's a broken chair in the dining room. There's a giant wasp nest in the tree over the outdoor seating area, good thing it's too late in the season for them. The interior is cute with nice touches like a hot chocolate bar but the experience here is not what you'd expect from the photos and price. ##### Scott S. All necessities were included, so all we needed to bring was our clothing. We spent a lot of time each day just putting around on the lake in the included pontoon. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub during the cool evenings. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. The host is very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The only thing that was not as satisfactory was the furniture in the living room. While very stylish, it was not comfortable for relaxing at night. We ended up laying out the sofa bed to lounge on, along with the bunk bed. However, it didn't take away from our trip and would recommend this spot to anyone. ##### Delores S.
