This place is absolutely magical! The property is enchanting, the hostess fascinating and the breakfast out of this world! The shepherd’s huts are so charming, I guess you could call it “glamping”? The one thing I would say is that my knees aren’t great and I found the steps to the huts a little tricky, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that it’s a 10 out of 10! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Wilton Castle is a masterpiece of vision, heart and elegance. The owners / hosts are two of the most outstanding people we have ever met. The castle exceeded our expectations on every level. The service was flawless, and our stay was absolutely unforgettable.

Pauline welcomed us so warmly, provided excellent information about the area, and gave all the extra care when she knew I wasn’t feeling well. As well, the Irish breakfast was amazing !! Highly recommend this B and B !!

Very clean, quiet, beautiful spot with all the amenities one could want. Pods are so nicely done and property feels like a private guest retreat! Sauna and hot tub with spectacular views. Outdoor seating a propane fire pit on the main house veranda is so cozy. The main house is relaxing and comfortable with a spacious, very usable kitchen, ample seating for dining and a great living area to sit indoors. Many special touches to make your stay enjoyable, along with excellent communication and...

Samuels Heritage is a very nice clean property. Views from the property are wonderful. They provide a great variety of delicious food at breakfast. Although there isn't a restaurant within walking distance there a couple of places within a 5 minute drive the serve great food at reasonable prices. As we'd been travelling for a month we were in need of getting some laundry done and Susan took our laundry and had it done by the next morning.

Beautiful building, well maintained and super helpful front of house staff

This hotel is located in the heart of Kilkenny about 2 blocks from the castle. We did notice a little clutter and congestion in the parking lot (free parking included with stay) but only because of some ongoing renovations during our stay. From the outside the hotel doesn't look overly impressive but we found the inside very impressive and charming. It is clean and quiet and the room we had was large and quite modern. The restaurant onsite is fantastic. No need to look elsewhere to dine. The...

We found the staff and property to be excellent. They were very cooperative in allowing an early check-in. The room was excellent. The property had a bar and dining options which we both used and enjoyed. The breakfast was a complete menu for us to select from and was excellent. We had after dinner drinks and good discussions with the staff. The property itself was located within walking distance of the town and there was ample parking on site.

This place was a really neat place to stay, very old building with lots of character. The restaurant is the old stone building. Rooms are updated and clean. Parking right beside the Inn

Wonderful experience- and dinner in dining room is a must do! Lovely walks around the property !

First stop on our roadtrip around Ireland. Whitford House is amazing! Super clean, beautiful inside and out, great location, easy to find, restaurant has great food, staff are wonderful and welcoming, room was perfect. Only negative is we aren't staying here longer. Highly recommended.

Away from the tourist locations in a more traditional village. The restaurant was tremendous.

Wish we had more time. One night do not give us the true castle experience. Had dinner in the dining room. It is a must. Was amazing. And great value. You take a ferry to the resort which is fun. Runs every 15 minutes. Great service. Spectacular grounds. Very 'downton abbey'.

Really enjoyed the hotel. Spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast and bonus welcome drink. Great location city centre.

5-star at it’s finest! Would 100% recommend this property. They know how to do 5-star service. Everything was exceptional, all the small details and all the staff were incredible. The estate is beautiful, lots to explore. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. The Hound restaurant was amazing! Stay for atleast 2 nights to get the whole experience.

We were welcomed by reception so well! Restaurant and food excellent and then drinks in the bar with friendly staff Would highly recommend this hotel, It is an 8 minute drive to Waterford Crystal and the town center

Our stay at Lyrath Estate was a memorable experience, and one of the biggest highlights was undoubtedly the incredible hotel breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the property and how well everything was maintained. The estate has a wonderful atmosphere, combining elegance, charm, and the peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a special place to stay. The grounds and overall appearance of the hotel were beautiful, and it was clear that a great deal of...
